Ar Tonelico has been trending on twitter for the past few days for no reason whatsoever so I've been blessed with some new fanart, good shit.

Anyway, finally dropped Arknights for good. I couldn't muster any energy to read the last event, the events and maps get harder and messier with every update, and the gacha is just abysmal so you can't even enjoy new characters. Every big update seems to make the game less f2p friendly. And let's not even talk how awful the global version is, with 3x slower text speed for no reason. It sucks, because I've been playing daily for years now but it's just not the same, it's not fun. I don't even understand the maps most of the time lately, I cannot see any strategy behind them, it's just abuse the few operators I clearly don't have or struggle with the sloppiest gameplay possible. And with CC gone, there's not even something to look forward to anymore. CC2 is not the same.

Honestly speaking tho, I don't think I feel too bad about it, I had fun but clearly the reasons that drew me to the game are not here anymore. I never was super into the characters, the setting, or the lore anyway (even though I read everything, but MAYBE because I did read everything I wasn't into it LOL)

How is the breath of fire series? I'm curious about it

I know I probably won’t be able to play *everything* but at least basically everything up here is something I would prefer to play.

I'm thus far doing the casual player route on Master Duel, but trying the ranked matching stuff is literally Russian Roulette; never know if your opponent is a novice like you are or some superior player who chains cards and multi-summons BEFORE you get your turn to even draw a card from one's deck. I've lost more in ranked matches than win. Right now, I've only gotten two wins on ranked (but I barely survived both matches).

For now, I got a good Deck I've built taking a mix of cards at a max of 60 from the Vortex Magic and Blue-Eyes MAX decks, and then adding some additional Spell/Trap cards including 2 Fusion Subs, Polymerization, Child's Play, Seal of Orichalcos, 3 Dark Hole cards, and a couple 4 star monsters. While in my extra deck I got ten total fusions: King Dragun, Dark Magician the Dragon Knight, Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight, The Dark Magicians, Master of Chaos, Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon, Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, Dragon Master Knight, Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.

Doing more Solo Duels slowly builds my LV, but ranked also helps so I can build the points to do some card generations of what I'm looking for when trying to come up with good Deck combos.

I did look into the site's remake. Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about it. I know you have issues with it from maybe months ago (not remembering when you brought it up).

I've done a lot of my themes' color scheme on this old site by picking out significant color of the featured character. Now, two colors are feeling limited. Also, the banner is now something I'll have to think around, especially when I go cropping with the images. All I did for my testing was redo my current one just to see how I may have to adapt.

changed my theme since the remake is "near" (it'll release this decade, with any luck), the new site uses paint's default color picker which sucks ass and has no support for hex codes but then again it has way less customization and you can only choose 2 colors anyway
