Beaten as far as the story missions go, it's an mmo, there will always be stuff to do!

☆★★★★ This game is probably the best story driven MMO I have ever played that is not a Final Fantasy based game. If you love Star Trek, give it a shot, it's very hard to describe, but I can say this, if you are not a Star Trek fan, this game may not be for you.

☆☆★★★ This rating will probably improve when I figure out what to do, however the game is very open an not linear (to it's credit) but given that there IS a story behind it and I just can't find what to do is a detriment. I hope to actually get past the first leg of this game so that I can judge it on more than just the mechanics and graphics (both of which are fairly standard and easy to use, so it's getting standard marks).

Megaman Battle Network 5: Double Team DS

☆★★★★ A worthwhile addition to the battle network series. It's really difficult to describe other than just saying it's an upgrade in every way and the story keeps you involved. The addition of the character voices from the anime don't hurt either.

☆★★★★ Every addition to the original game just makes this an all around better experience. The new combat menu is easy to use whether you are using the stylus or the gamepad itself. The addition of new zones doesn't feel clunky like some of the other remakes (FFIV advance I'm looking at you >.<) and follows the original story in a way that just makes it feel like the SNES game just didn't have space to devote to it.

Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon

★★★★★ I am far from completing this game, but it not only is a worthy successor to the first (though at first glance it seems identical with just a different character) but it throws a nice plot twist in that keeps you invested. The fact that you play as more than just one generation of your family makes this all the more intriguing and worth it!

Thanks for the reply. Regarding Warcraft 2, a friend and I play our custom maps from time to time. The maps we play are normally co-op, where we build up forces behind either trees or rock, and then the enemy has a huge force built up too when we're ready to attack. I've got some good custom RPG style maps I like to do as well, but they take about 5 players. Interested in joining in for a game at some point?

Greetings! I just realized what the category "Good Old Games" was for, and I thought I'd ask if you happen to play Warcraft 2, Starcraft, Rise of Nations, or Diablo 2? I recently had an urge to play some of those older ones again, and I'm looking to find a few people to play with.

btw, I'm a Flashback fan! Also, I see Warcraft 2 in your game list.

Wow I feel like a jerk. I never read your comment! Flashback is an amazing platformer! It's really in a league of its own. Savestates aren't breaking anything, though I would strongly suggest making several.
If you can swing it, get the PC version, it runs much smoother than the SNES version, though both are very good. It was well worth my time to finish the game and I feel it would be well worth yours as well! ^_^

Hey, you beat Flashback! I started that game, but got distracted, and am thinking I may need to play it on the emulator to maximize enjoyment and minimize frustration--I get the feeling that save states would be less like cheating and more like implementing a necessary game feature. What'd you think of it? (Five stars is a pretty good hint...)

Oh wow, I placed the comment on the wrong game! It's 3 I'm playing through, not IV. I haven't picked up IV to play, but I've got the cartridge. Thanks for the reminder, I'll fix that!

Welcome to Warp Zone!

So...where in Dragon Warrior IV did you find a place to change classes? I think I'm closing in on the end of the game, and there's been no indication whatsoever that this is a real thing. Dragon Warrior III, sure.
So many neglected games! They need help! I shall assist by knocking them down one by one!
