Controlling both characters is ... well, out of 3 characters it really only works with one companion in my opionion.
Josh is one of the easier ones to control because you can at least check every now and then if he's up in the air, which'll do A LOT more damage and his high and low card system is easier to look through in the speed of each battle.
Shiki might work too with some practice, but Beat ... oh my god, Beat srsly is a big pain in the ass.
Although I use Beat the most out of them all, I still can't control him and Neku at the same time :/
For the first time I beat Panthera Cantus a friend of mine controlled the upper part of the screen with Beat constantly blocking attacks while I fought and healed with Neku. It actually worked way better than expected xD

I still think it's bold that you needed a remote Plus controller for Skyward Sword and it was so small imprinted on the backside of the game that you had to search for it!
I almost had bought it, but after figuring out I needed the better controller ... well, lucky I didn't buy the game, pushed it in the console and figured it out THEN.

After completing and achieving the true ending with some little tears dropping I DEFINITELY can recommend it!
The story was beautiful, you have a lot of non-cliché, fresh characters and I liked the whole concept of wrecking-up-history-because-you're-too-dumb-to-make-good-decisions.
There were also some points I wasn't that fond of like the battle system.
It's not bad, actually it's quite interesting and fun, but most of the battles seem to take way too much time and after 5-10h it really gets on your nerves.
And I'm a little bit sad it's not dubbed, but I guess that would've been too much for the little DS memory (and at least like this you have a lot more freedom to actually imagine the characters and their personality).
But all in all it's a unique, nice & very recommendable, little DS pearl!:3

Hahaha, I actually was only lucky with this one, cause I closed the DS on pure coincidence in that exact moment after a lot of failed attempts.
Some of the pigs are rather hard to kill and it's usually better to look it up than to bite your ass off determing the correct method :'D
I really liked the battle system though!
Quick and fresh and I loved the different pin abilities - scratch, slash, tip, some also actually used the microphone.
A lot of games don't use the full potential of the DS, which makes me quite sad :/

(rather put that under a spoiler or else I might lessen your fun figuring out the killing method)

Well, I had two game overs so far. One for a wrong answer (I just tried it out because I thought the other one might've been wrong but my first choice was the correct one after all, lol), I got game over immediately after. Well, I died? xD
And the other one was with Okita. I made the mistakes chapters ago, got two additional CG images but well it was game over at the end still (because he died even though I did not).
And my theater mode doesn't offer any alternate endings anymore apart from the character endings and the normal one ^^;
So I assume there is no real bad ending apart from game over... Though, I don't know for sure. I will check on that as soon as I've done everything possible in the game without consulting a guide.

I heard Yuugiroku isn't worth the money unless it's 50% off because the playing time is way too short.

I think I've seen some sides of him that I do like. But I just find the others to be a lot more interesting. Maybe it's because of that?

Well, game over isn't technically an end you should strive for.
But I intend to complete my gallery after clearing Hijikata and for that purpose I'll need some choices ultimately resulting in game over. I've only had it with Okita so far though XD

Not everyone I think? I also do not think he's a bad character. The more I play the more I notice that is most certainly not the case. But I tend to think his actions are unreasonable in a lot of cases. And I can't see Chizuru falling for him yet. Well, I should judge this after clearing his route or the anime though.
I know, it just makes me a bit sad he is the "main" guy in the first place.

Not THAT manly or rather, not manly in that kinda sense. But too much for me. I totally look like a child so... :/ Most bishonen are already too manly for me to cosplay. (though their looks depend on the picture also. When I googled first I got a way different impression on the characters than I had after playing for myself? XD)
Exactly. I don't like her in the anime so far but in some routes of the game I could relate to her a lot. Besides, you get to make choices so it's not like her personality is set in stone completely.

Just started the anime today... I somewhat dislike Kuwashima voicing Chizuru.
But what bothers me the most is the fact they're going for Hijikata route D: He's my LAST choice. Even behind Kazama.

Besides, with Heisuke, Saitou and Okita already taken =w= Not that I'd have done any of them.
Unlike some other people who cosplayed her, I personally like Chizuru. And well, I get to take pair shots with all the awesome guys? :D

Haha, yes. After I heard Chris and another friend talking about it a lot at the weekend, I felt like starting it right away o/ The game instead of the anime first.
(I mean they already asked me if I would cosplay with them BEFORE. Sooner or later I would have played or watched anyway XD)

It's not a super awesome game or anything, but fun. Just cleared Saito's route today <3 I heard.. and saw on MAL he's your favorite xD Which I can relate to. It's definitely him and Heisuke for me.
