My OCD Guidelines:

Null = I don't have the time/will to finish the game, but own it. Alternatively, the game cannot be "completed".

Games I no longer own (due to being sold, an expired subscription, or a server shutdown) are not included in my collection.

Free-To-Play games are not included in my collection due to there being no way to technically "own" them.

Games I own on multiple platforms are only listed individually if I feel there is enough distinction between the versions. This prevents my collection/completed games from appearing larger than it actually is. The hierarchy of which platform a game will be listed under is Steam > PC Downloads > PSN (PS4) > Wii U Downloads > PSN (PS3) > 3DS Downloads. This is due to Steam being my preferred way of playing a game whenever possible.

Games that have received a remake or remaster I consider superior to the original will have one star reduced from their overall score.

Games on my wishlist are only those that have already released.

Cross-Buy/Cross-Platform PlayStation games are grouped under PlayStation Network to avoid redundancy.

Virtual Console games I own on Wii U and other Nintendo platforms (titles previously purchased on Wii, 3DS ambassador program games, etc.) will only be listed under Wii U VC to avoid redundancy.

PlayStation Network games that have their original system listed are those found only on that specific system.

Despite PS1 Classics technically being a subset of PlayStation Network, I still consider them a separate category.

Steam games will always have the same name/listing as in the library.

Due to the finicky nature of the memory card in Backloggery, only 100% accurate dates will remain listed.

Compilations will only have the contained games listed separately when I consider them significant enough to warrant their own entry. If a game is shared between multiple compilations I own, it will only be listed once.

Compilations will not have the separate games listed individually in my wishlist.

I prefer digital over physical whenever possible for the convenience. As a result, I often sell physical copies of games when I am able to acquire the digital equivalent. Amiibo collecting and bundles can make this a rather difficult process.

Emulation is an absolute last resort for me and will not be listed on the rare occasion that I play a game with this method.

Written reviews will be added when I find the time to do so.
