Darkwood was marvelous! Especially the audio impressed me but it looks great too. Took me some time to understand the game but even when I was bad at it I loved it. Definitely recommend it!

Spider-Man was pure joy. I really have nothing negative to say about it. I don't analyze games tho and if I did I could probably find stuff to nitpick about, but eh. Why do that when I can just keep feeling like it's perfect

Little Nightmares was a great experience! Surreal, tense and cute all at once. But I have been a huge fan of Tarsier's ideas and design since a swedish magazine had an article about City of Metronome over 10 years ago, so I went into it with a love for them already. Meaning I am not really unbiased ;D But yeah, amazing game. Absolutely recommended.

That's too bad about Black just being a generic shooter. If memory serves me correctly that's what reviews said at the time of it's release. That's probably why I never checked it out. Hopefully it ends up getting better once you get a bit further into the game.

It's great to hear that you're enjoying the new Shadow of the Colossus! I have been hearing only good things about it. I replayed the last remaster of it on the PS3 a year or so ago and I didn't enjoy it as much as I had hoped I would. I LOVED the game back on PS2 (definitely one of my favorite games on that console) but the controls in the PS3 version seemed really clunky and bad to me. I imagine that has been fixed in the new release though.

Good luck with Ico and The Last Guardian if you end up checking them out. I quite enjoyed Ico (some dated and wonky controls though), but I struggled to find much of any enjoyment with The Last Guardian, unfortunately. Hopefully you'll have a better time with that one than I did.
