Your Zelda artwork is absolutely GORGEOUS! It totally captures the essence of the Kokiri Forest. I also wanted to let you know that Radiant Historia is an absolutely amazing game - one of my favorites. So I hope you enjoy it as well.

I'm in the same boat; I know bits and pieces, but not even enough to form a coherent sentence. None of mine's from anime, though; it's mostly from playing Japan-only games on old systems, and I'm not even close to proficient with either of their alphabets, let alone Kanji. Mystic Ark is pretty interesting; it's a fairly standard JRPG, but it has some elements from those old First-Person Adventures, like Shadowgate or Princess Tomato in Salad Kingdom. It's not quite a full hybrid, like the Sword of Hope or Kujyako Ou games, though; more like the hybridization used in the Genesis version of Shadow of the Beast.

It's tough, but looking at them again, I think I'd lean toward Mido. Such great memories, though; I played that game to death and back my senior year (back in the Bronze Age), along with Legacy of the Wizard on the NES. Come to think of it, that should've been the Sheikah sage in Ocarina of Time, since Impa's not a town in Adventure of Link. I mean yeah, it has been the name of Zelda's attendant since the very first game, but maybe she could've stayed just that. Rauru (debatably) and Nabooru came out of nowhere; why couldn't Kasuto do the same? I suppose it is, especially since I have trouble remembering Japanese names for some reason. My lady and I had to make up a bunch of stupid nicknames for all of the characters in Bleach, just so that I could remember who everyone was. I think my favorite was Rukia's brother; we called him Rice-a-Roni Kenshin because of those weird noodle things in his hair.

You know, somewhere in my shattered mind, I think I knew that; my Japanese is... not very good. It was a lot better when I was writing that Mystic Ark walkthrough, but that was quite a number of years ago. I do agree, though, that Midori Ocarina sounds better. Mido is actually one of my favorite towns from Adventure of Link; easily my favorite in Western Hyrule. The only ones that might compete with it are Darunia and Old Kasuto. It turns out, though, that it's actually Midoro Swamp.
