Whoop apologies for the delay again.

FFTA is fun but locking classes behind race and adding in the fact that each race was geared towards particular jobs was kind of meh (Nu Mou were exceptional mages for example, while Bangaa are strong but slow in general). I'll be playing FFT again at some point to give it another go so hopefully it'll be a smoother experience then.

D2 has always been a fun time. I remember losing tons of hours in the original when I was younger and the Remaster just plays and looks really good. Also YES to respecs! Holy moly nothing sucked more than borking up a build and going "welp." I remember downloading a mod at some point in the past JUST to reset my characters skills because I had messed them up so horribly.

Sorry for the delayed response! Life happened.

Tactics was a good experience but maybe due to me not having the nostalgia factor I found a lot of things frustrating, however I am a big fan of FFTA so maybe it's because I played that one first before the original. I think they both have their pros and cons but overall both are enjoyable. The music was great and Agrias is one of my new favorite characters.

How are you enjoying D2 Remastered? I played and finished it some time ago but it was a nice trip down memory lane.

You have conquered what is possibly the longest Dragon Quest game, albeit without attempting the (admittedly tedious as hell) bonus dungeons. Congratulations on overcoming that monumental hill.

I think I'm with you on Vagrant Story. I thought the cinematic/story aspects were cool but the rest was kind of a drag.

Every time you start a new game, I try to think whether it'll be the next VGC2C. Probably not The Darkness II.

So far, I mostly hate Blitzball, and plan to engage with it as little as possible. Which is what I do with pretty much all RPG minigames and side activities.

Just picked up Dragon Quest 8? I assume you played the original at some point, though, right?
