Poltergeist is an avid console gamer, collector and fair weather trophy hunter. Poltergeist prefers to finish what he starts, but he's scared of butterflies, because of that creepy eye pattern on their wings. Poltergeist loves fighting games, but he spams jumping roundhouse and sweep. One time, Poltergeist left the batteries in a Wii-mote until they corroded. Poltergeist was really stoked when he almost beat
Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly on the hardest difficulty, but that last boss kept one-shotting him. Poltergeist is not ashamed to admit that he cried when Sephiroth killed Aeris. Feel free to drop Poltergeist a line. I guarantee you, he doesn't bite, but he might haunt your multi-tap.
The Ratings:
5 Stars: One of my all-time favorites. The game's flaws pale in comparison to its strengths.
4 Stars: A very good game. Though certain elements might prevent it from achieving true greatness, I still found it quite enjoyable.
3 Stars: A mediocre experience. It might not be a terrible game, per say, but it wastes potential, fails to distinguish itself from the competition or has just as many weaknesses as strengths.
2 Stars: I didn't enjoy this game very much. It might have an awesome moment or two, but the game's flaws overshadow anything worthwhile.
1 Star: Reserved for shovelware of the lowest caliber. The game has absolutely no redeeming qualities, and I'm... not quite sure how it even got into my collection.
