I found the game to be incredibly original from Intelligent Systems, and on New 3DS it plays very well. The dynamic orchestrated soundtrack, the concept of Abraham Lincoln fighting alien invaders, online multiplayer... it all tied together into a fantastic package. Admittedly, the visuals could have used some more polish, but it is still a great game.

I personally loved Code Name STEAM. What are your final thoughts on the game?

Final Fantasy 9 has been pleasant. Its no FF7, though. Despite them both being PS1 games, I think FF7 is the better of the two - and this is from somebody who just started playing the main line series last year.

The final case in Justice for All is so good. Probably my favorite in the entire series.

Yup, Metal Gear Rising was a treat!
I have also noticed that you finished Xenoblade Chronicles! Great job!

I remember Kirby's Dreamland 2 to be a tad on the boring side. It is certainly challenging later in, though.

Hey, thanks for adding me! Any reason in particular that you thought I would be a decent Multitap buddy?

Looks like you have been making progress in Xenoblade Chronicles. That snow section is so beautiful. I hope you are enjoying it!

Thanks for the heads up about Jak 2. I was excited to play the series but Jak 1 kind of killed that right out of the gate. I had a lot more fun with the Sly games.

Sly 3 was good for the most part, about on par with Sly 2. They got rid of the clue bottles you had to hunt for in the first two which was both great as finding them all was a pain in Sly 2 but it also felt like a little less like a Sly game as a result. They introduced a bunch of side characters which I didn't much care for. Much like how people liked Sonic less as the introduced more of his friends. The only other gripe I had with the game was that it was constantly throwing new things at you and never really took time to get any of them to be really good. I enjoy variety in a game but Sly 3 took it too far.

If you haven't played the Sly games I'd recommend the Sly Collection for PS3. It's cheap now and you get 3 good (though short) ps2 platformers out of it.

I really struggled with it in terms of difficulty. Used save states frequently to get through.

I think COD 2 has that appeal that would make it a beloved classic, but I'm several years too late to experience it. I pegged the game in my mental category of dull games since I have a host of titles I eventually want to conquer but haven't yet. This game is at the top of such a category, because it's mostly made up of games I want to play but can't because I hate the game design so much that I can't commit eight to ten hours to finish it. COD2 at least held my attention for that long., so that's good.

The best way to play Sonic 3 is when it's connected to Sonic & Knuckles. It makes both games one seamless experience with the save function of Sonic 3. Sadly, the only SEGA compilation that lets you play the connected version of Sonic 3 is the Sonic Mega Collection + for PS2.

I'm one of those old folks that are always saying "there hasn't been a great Sonic game since the Genesis (Mega Drive in Europe)". I played the hell out of the original Sonic games when I was a kid but I haven't played one since. Since all I hear about them now are bad things I haven't had any desire to pick up anything else. Considering you've actually played Sonic 06, what drives you play anything Sonic related now?

Yeah, I'm enjoying it. I've been meaning to play it for ages and now that it works on Linux and was on sale I just couldn't say no. I see you started Sonic Rush the other day. How is that treating you?
