Just of the PS1 port. I've played the original on an emulator and beat it years ago. I was wanting to get around to trying the former for some time. I really need to get back to continuing it eventually.

I hope you have a better time with Resonance of Fate than I did. I really tried to get into the game, but everything felt so cumbersome to deal with, especially when it came to combat. After a while I pretty much gave up on it and gave it away. At least the main characters were pretty cool (Leanne is ).

However, don't get me started on Pater. Words cannot describe the utter contempt I have for that character.

I feels ya, man. It's gotten me interested in seeing what God Eater is all about myself, so I may want to check that series out as soon as I get a Vita. And I've heard that PXZ is pretty easy, too, myself. I think it increases in difficulty when you do a New Game+, at least that's what I've read, so there may be a little more hope for it yet.

The one thing that kind of bothers me about it is that the roster seems like a lottery draw of various characters as opposed to the sequel, which is more focused on the fan favorites and feels more rounded out. But I can look past that, it's not like it's necessarily a bad thing.

I was definitely happy to see Captain Commando return in the sequel, as well as the inclusion of June from Star Gladiator and--the biggest surprise of all--Segata Sanshiro! It gave me more motivation to get the game.
