Consider Yourself a Hero: Majority of games are beaten
I've decided to alter the way in which I categorize games that I've previously beaten when adding them to my Backloggery. Previously, when I added a game to the backlog that I had previously beaten, I would identify it as "beaten" if played on the same system, or "unbeaten" if played on a different platform. For example, I have beaten the PS2 trilogy of GTA, but I purchased them on Steam, a different platform, and marked them as unbeaten. Similarly, I had beaten Ace Combat 4 previously on the PS2, purchased them for my own, and then added and marked them as beaten.
I've decided to alter my system and disregard what platform I've played the game and simply mark them based on whether I've beaten the game or not. However, this will only apply if significant differences do not exist between both platform versions. Significance differences can be qualified as vastly upgraded graphics and in-game engines, balance changes, significantly large side-quests and additional content, etc. A good example of this would be the various versions of Final Fantasy IV. The SNES version of FFIV is markedly different from the GBA version, which itself is very different from the DS version.
The reason for this paradigm shift is that it reduces an inflated unbeaten count arbitrarily based on the platform for which I have a game. That reason alone does not justify categorizing games in this particular way. I will begin making changes after I make this post, but they will be stealth changes, as I do not claim I have beaten a particular game today or ever around the date that this is posted.

Master of Unlocking: Majority of games are completed
Thanks! I was just talking to Try4ce the other day about how I couldn't imagine going back to the pre-Backloggery days. Good to hear other people feel similarly.
