Sleeping Dogs
Some more people died, but at least I'm in control of the thing, now. Also my cop buddies don't trust me (go figure).

COOL! I won a thing! Thanks to the Backloggery folks for randomly giving away stuff because of donations to awesome causes! :D || Reminds me a lot of Shenmue, but a lot more of what I wanted Shenmue to be (complete and full of more action). || Story feels like I am making choices on what quests to not-do 'cause it feels like some of them just up and vanish after I complete others. Don't know. Maybe I'm just dumb.
Gauntlet: Slayer Edition
Currently about half way through campaign? I don't know why I don't just power through this...

★★★★★ Playing this for less than an hour made me stop Oblivion and instantly look at Oblivion as a "Lesser Game." || The lack of a formal "class system" make this game SO much better than previous games.

Yep. I tend to love most Level -5 games. They just seem to scratch that itch.

Catlateral Damage is fun and an interesting concept. Unfortunately though, it seems to be lacking as far as depth and content is concerned. There's two modes, Objective & Litterbox. In objective mode, there's five stages (plus two possible bonus stages) that each have a set time limit & some kind of objective to achieve in that time limit, and you're just trying to get the highest score possible. In Litterbox, you just get to pick a level and freely knock things over at your leisure.

Though being able to wreak havoc as an adorable cat is fun, I was hoping that there would've been more variety in stages (they're all basically houses of varying sizes. The bonus stages are a museum & a supermarket though, so those are pretty interesting). There are a variety of cat pictures & playable cats to unlock, so that does add some replayability. There's also some really cool & fun Easter egg references to other indie games, which I found awesome as well. But it's not really something that'll keep you engaged for extended periods of time (which isn't always a bad thing).

If your girl really likes cats, then it might be a fun little game to pick up & play every now & again. I'm just not sure if it's worth the $10 price point. Maybe it'd be something to get during a sale.
