Yeah, I've not played XII either yet, I picked it up on sale as well, for around £6 last year =D I'd say I'm a fan of the FF series, but not a hardcore fan, as there are quite a few dissapointing, average games. Yeah, I can see that they are going for the same thing as the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII games. Hopefully there aren't some substandard cash-ins though... I reckon XIII will be quite good, I think its probably just me being paranoid about it, the flaws that I'm worried about probably wont be that bad. I'm quite liking some things about FFX at the moment, like the battle system and the story seems to be picking up, but some things bug me a little bit, like the Sphere Grid, voice acting and some of the characters. Lulu is definitely mega hot though hehe =p

How are you coping with the Lag on Nintendo WiFi? I've been getting it alot in games and it's been kind of a turn off ![]()

But one thing that is kinda frustrating is that it isn't always clear where you have to go, or what you have to do. I guess thats the case with a lot of old school rpgs. The early Final Fantasy games were like that a bit as well

DQV definitely has lots of charm, theres something I just really like about Dragon Quest games. They are so simple, the combat, the grindiness, the monsters, but all of the things together add up really well. I don't mind the random encounters, I just usually use them as a way to grind, and take out the dungeons in a few attempts, going back to rest at a town when I can. I've only played Dragon Warrior Monsters 1 and 2, Dragon Quest IV and the demo of Dragon Quest VIII, but I heard this one is considered the best as well.

Hehe, thats wierd. I just started Dragon Quest V DS as well. How are you finding it? I've got beaten quite a few times so far already. I think its still because I've not got used to the system yet, I need to get that level of patience that I'll no doubt get a few more hours into the game. I probably need to grind out a few more levels as well.

Cool, I added the link to mine so I can follow your blog in my dashboard in blogger. ![]() I quite like the other DS Castlevanias, they have some annoying features though. Like in Dawn of Sorrow you have to draw seals on the touch screen to finish off the bosses. They get harder to do as you go on and you have limited time so you might end up having to weaken the boss over and over until you can quickly trace the seal shape. They are still both quite good games though. I'm pretty near the end of Ecclesia now, I want to do the villager quests and get all the glyphs I can before I take on the end of the game, but the optional dungeons are hard! I might pick up Spirit Tracks sometime when it goes down in price a bit, I've heard mostly good things about it.
