I actually just finished Banjo-Tooie (XBLA version). It wasn't a speed run by any means, but it was a 100% walkthrough. The game is much longer than Banjo-Kazooie, but it was a lot of fun. I played the N64 version a few years ago and the framerate is just terrible at times so it was really nice to play a version that ran perfectly smooth. I'll probably upload it to youtube soon.

I think that the single player was better in Sonic ASRT. Mario Kart 8 was fun for me and I didn't have a ton of complaints, but the game gets a little boring after a while. Online multiplayer is fun, but like always with Nintendo consoles, it is very limited. I played the game for a few weeks and haven't played it since. My biggest complaint with Sonic Racing was the items. I thought they were pretty uninteresting and not too balanced. I guess Mario Kart 8 has a similar problem at times too though. Getting a coin item in Mario Kart 8 is pretty stupid, especially if you already have 10. I still enjoyed the game quite a bit, especially when I raced some friends online.

I remember looking everywhere for the blue coins when the game came out. The first time I beat it 100%, I made sure to find everything myself. They don't make Mario games anywhere near as challenging anymore, which is a shame.

Mario Sunshine was always one of my favorites and even after over a decade, the game is still really fun to play and the graphics still look nice to me. I was really hoping for an HD re-make of this game.
