I actually am slightly tempted to attempt the Chrysler Building in Parasite Eve! Being able to carry over my favorite gun and continue modifying/upgrading it is pretty awesome! I named it, "The Kupo."

It was getting the dodge timing down that gave me trouble during the final boss. Once I was able to do it without running out of healing items, I was okay. I think I only had four items to heal with and not the better ones. I had JUST enough ammo to take it down! Ended up using the guide to "escort" me off the ship. Those were the most annoying and frustrating deaths!

Slightly tempted to download the sequel now, to someday replay in the (probably distant) future. I did manage to beat that one on the Playstation, but only remember the shower scene. I think I preferred the first title? I wonder if 3rd Birthday is playable on Vita...

Now that I think of it... Yeah, Vagrant Story does play like Parasite Eve! I can't remember which one released first though.

With Bastion, if anything, the narrator should be enough to make it worth your time. I got quite a kick out of it. Enough to, unusually, play with the volume loud enough to hear what is being said. Normally, I have it only loud enough to barely be able to hear the sound effects and/or music.

I can see why the time limit in Majora's Mask would stall you from playing it. That's pretty much where I stopped, the first save, after wasting about five of those minutes looking for the save. Already felt overwhelmed by it, but I have no idea how it actually works yet. So hopefully, it won't be so bad?

You were right about Season Two of The Walking Dead... Dead dog was the surely the less awful of situations. I feel so awful for shooting Kenny! I couldn't decide, waited until the last second to make that choice. And so many other things. Just traumatizing. I "need" a Season Three now...

Finally started SMT IV! So far, I like it, but it is a slow start. Too much talking, not enough fighting, still. I'm sure it will pick up though. That black samurai perked my interest last night. I'm playing very slowly...

Maybe I'll give Persona 4 another try? I could always get a cheap, used copy, then return it if I don't like it. The Devil Survivor titles would have to come first, though.

And I don't mind at all!

Minion of Bak'laag: 100+ unfinished games
I keep getting sidetracked. I swear I have a separate list of stuff I simply promised other people I'd play asap and it's getting uncomfortably long. Knowing all that, I will say I will at some point play Suikoden! I don't buy games I don't intend to play after all! And I liked Suikoden IV quite a lot and everyone keeps saying that's the weakest game, so I imagine all the other entries will be very enjoyable for me~

Haha, oh my god. These sales are the worst. I've been trying to cut back and literally right now it's the sales that keep slipping through the cracks. I didn't intend to buy Suikoden and more recently Attack of the Friday Monsters. I was going to eventually pick both up, but I don't really have time for them right now, so they weren't a priority and then they go on sale and I cave. On the plus side, I'm actually positive for once! I just have to be strict with myself for the rest of the year.

Great news! My insider contact, one of Nintendo of Antartica's janitors, likes our Mario dating sim idea, and he's going to internally champion it! Fingers crossed!

So, it seems like you enjoyed Danganronpa? Apparently it's coming to the PC, so I'll probably score it on there?

I hope to own a Vita someday! It's a project for another day, given that I just bought an Xbox One, but the Vita seems like a really tight system. I'm not sure if Persona 4 and SMT are for me (I don't usually care for RPGs), but I'll absolutely try them. I consider them to be required reading. I feel the same way over Call of Duty 4, which is another game I'll try someday.

So we've been talking about Paper Mario, and now new rumors over a Wii U entry have arose! I figured that'd be something that'd be moved over to the NX or something, but whatever happens, I hope it follows the first two. I respect that they wanted to experiment with Super Paper Mario and Sticker Star, but it's been a long time since the first two games.

Galaxy 2 compliments the first one well. I'd say it's the stronger game overall, though that's certainly debatable.

My first impressions of Rare Replay are pretty positive, but I haven't played enough to really say for sure. I enjoy Rare's output (even if a lot of it hasn't aged all that well), so I'll have fun. Honestly, the biggest problem I have with Rare Replay so far is the absence of Donkey Kong. Obviously that can't be helped, but the Kongs were such a big part of Rare's history, so it makes me sad that they can't be a part of the celebration.

I would have to agree, since I am looking forward to all eight! The hardest part, deciding which one to play next... It's a good thing there's a bit of variety in the mix.

Bastion was alright, though it can become a bit repetitive. It wasn't until towards the end that I started getting into it. After I finally got around to attempting the "weapon challenges" and vigils, for currency towards upgrades.

Just finished Parasite Eve earlier today. It was definitely frustrating towards the end. I died so many times, having to suffer the final boss (and dialog) over and over again. That "trick" save had me so annoyed, I actually failed because of it twice!

I did like the game though, regardless of all that stress and annoyance. The battles were fun, story was good and interesting. It still looks surprisingly good for being so old too, especially the videos. Makes me wish you could take screenshots of PSP/PS1C titles with the Vita!

Started Majora's Mask 3D the other day, after becoming overly fed up with Parasite Eve actually! I didn't make it very far, it was pretty late, just to the first save. It is certainly to be enjoyed, I would say, from what I seen. It feels like Link found his way to Wonderland. It's so bizarre!

There have been roughly four attempts at Vagrant Story, usually never making beyond the Snowfly Forest. Just once I have made it any further, then I accidentally deleted my save file! I'm feeling pretty confident about this time around. Have you ever played it before?

Xenogears is also great! Good luck with it. I managed to beat it back on PSX. Only remember it vaguely now, enough to know I probably wouldn't succeed in a second play through. That game was massively long, or felt like it with all that dialog. So I surely understand the "one PSX RPG at a time" rule!

Prinny is patience testing with the difficulty and amount of stupid deaths, at your own fault of course. I made it quite a ways in and lost my save data. It was at the same time as the loss of Vagrant Story. I failed at transferring data from old memory sticks to new, larger sticks. Hopefully, I'll be a bit better at it this time and not die as much. What I played of it before was enjoyable, in a torturous, maddening way.

I really, really liked Dementium, but it can be patience testing too. Once you figure out how to best kill specific enemies though, it gets better/easier. Definitely not an easy game! I'm curious about the improvements made in the sequel.

Not sure if you're aware, but there is an "improved" remake of the first Dementium title on 3DS. I'm not sure if it has been released yet though... Also, have you heard of Moon? It's a DS title from the same people.

SMT IV is one of the eight that I look forward to most. Pretty much because of the demon fusing. Demon fusing is too much fun and I miss it.

Didn't like what I seen of Persona, which was very little. The Playstation title turned me off pretty quickly. Turned it off and never looked back. It's all I have seen of Persona titles... I enjoyed Strange Journey immensely though!

Season Two of The Walking Dead is crazy so far. I'm not even very far into it, which makes it even more crazy than the first! I think... I don't remember the beginning of Season One being that harsh so quickly. It caught me a bit off-guard I think, maybe the reason I haven't touched it for two weeks. That poor dog and stitching up my arm was just...

Anyhow. Happy to "meet" you! Forgive my super long comment/reply. I have a (bad?) habit of doing that... In my defense, you did mention a lot of games.

I've been lucky as I haven't had anything spoiled about the game for me so far (which is pretty amazing of people but I guess that reflects how good the game is) and I've managed not to look anything up so I guess I better play Undertale soon! I'll let you know how my first playthrough goes when I get around it

Thanks I've been meaning to start a blog for awhile, what games hadn't you heard of? Constant battle with the backlog! My backlog has increased a lot lately with so many new great games so I'll have to try and beat some before I start anything new (we'll see if I actually manage that )

I don't mind at all, I've added you back

oh cool, thanks for the tip! I'll definitely be a regular on that site from now on, hehe especially because this time of year, I am super broke for getting games, so if I can get one or two from there it should tide me over I also gave away a code for a game I didn't want so that was kinda cool
