The emails and message boards were a really interesting way to flesh out the world of the games. Plus, I just find urban legends interesting regardless.

I'm pretty certain I'll be getting the first G.U. before mid-October, so I'm looking forward to diving into it soon!

I'm happy to hear G.U. improved on some of the first series' shortcomings. Especially the lulls in the story. There was an unnecessary amount of filler in the first series, so I'm pretty relieved that G.U. is an entire disc shorter.

I agree that the mystery is one of its greatest draws. It was fun piecing together the story through multiple layers of reality via different mediums. It had some nice tunes to boot!

So you never actually got to finish the G.U. series? That's a bummer. Hopefully Redemption will prove to be a great climax in our journey to beat them all.
