Muramasa and get all of the Katana's as well! I fought it pretty boring however, the caves need to be unlimited...

Which playthrough did you enjoy the most? I thought for sure I would prefer Kisuke but once I finished everything I had way more fun with Momohime.

Well that's cool. Ahh... You play Brawl with Storm? That's awesome. I'm a Brawler myself, and I'd love to fight both of you. I haven't Brawled in a while but I did manage to get on a pro level.

That reminds me, I need to get 100% on my Brawl data again my little bro deleted my old save 'cause he thought it would be funny. So I chopped all his trees down in Animal Crossing... Funny, huh? Lol.

Well as long as you're still enjoying life I guess it's all good.

I like the idea of your missed classics marathon. Good stuff for those of us born too late to hit those NES gems.

I've already hit up most of my "classics" list last year through the magic of virtual console. Good luck with Battletoads. Contra is one thing, but Battletoads is freaking ass-kickingly difficult. It's one of the few NES games I remember from my childhood (mostly for its questionable co-op mode), so I plan on going back to

it at some point, but man is it tough...

I wonder how it'd work, exactly. Characters have travelled through time before in the series, but it was never really explained aside from “Oh, a bad guy magically shifted timelines and stole a chip, go get it back from him and congrats you're done go away.” Of course, if they don't try to cross the two canons, it'll might work out better.

True, save states would make it much more tolerable... I've been using them myself for Mega Man. I don't really consider them cheating as long as you don't overuse them. I see them more as time savers because you know you can do what you just did again...

I'll probably play MMs 5-8 as well. I can see this marathon lasting into the next year for me.

There are sequels, too, in case you didn't know. Most of the games have been remade for newer platforms by now, despite the oldest only being on PS2.

I can't wait, either. Once that's done, I can finally go through Zerker x Ninja with a clear conscience.

Yeah, but it's really easy to do since you can increase all enemies' levels several times over, which simultaneously increases the experience reward. As an added bonus, you can also get the first enemy defeated on any given map give you double.

Good! I'm glad. Now I get to tell Naikou I got someone else to play.

It's pretty awesome. Lots of fun, quirky characters and some memorable music.

It's one of the hardest games to complete I've run across, even in comparison to collection-types like Pokémon. Beating it's the easy part. Wanna know different the end-game boss and most notable bonus boss are? One is level 90. The other's level 9,999.
