im trying to get through it asap because i want to get going on me2 so i dont want too long to play wkc!

kind of weird how all the games slated for holiday 09 ended up flodding the first few months of '10.

I had to shoot Wrex last night.

I've hated this playthrough, its been really hard. I've had to save and reload at several points throughout the game since handling any situation in anyway short of being a soulless monstrosity earns you Paragon points. I can't imagine Sheperd or... anybody with a shred of decency handling situations the way I've had to in real situations, its kind've absurd. I'm on Virmire and I can't wait to finish this up and start a new Paragon campaign, just to wash the ick off.

It wasn't so much not having internet as it was that I knew there was a problem and couldn't figure it out for the life of me. Though, I had a hunch there might be problems with the cables outside, I never bothered to check. When I wasn't at work or asleep, I played Torchlight, so it wasn't all that bad.

It's surprisingly doable. I'm probably going to finish up GoW quick and then hit up II, since it's actually a little easier than the first game (although I have to be more careful with how I do things -- minimum of two playthroughs, but there's certain items I need to get which can only be used on the second playthrough, so yeah).

COD Classic is more of a pipe dream at this point, with the absurd difficulty of Veteran. Well, not difficulty, but cheapness. Nazis have ridiculous ninja-like abilities with pinpoint accuracy and I die in two shots. Add to this that the current mission...is an on-rails type where I'm in a lorry and can't really move.

Oh, I'm not so sure you won't pass me out. I won't be able to invest much time in Dragon Age either unfortunately due to the immense workload my job keeps piling on me. Probably only one or two hours a week tops.

Sorry for the super-late reply. My holidays were... bitter sweet. They were enjoyable for the most part, but my modem was also dead for the better part of a week. So, no internet and that's more than enough to make anyone crazy these days.

Even though I am going for completion now, I'm sure I'll come to it in a year or so and run through it again. I'm just so into it now that I couldn't possibly stop. It will take the remainder of the week and probably most of the weekend to finish since school has started up again.

The first AC was the first 'next-generation' game that I went "WOW! Now this is Next-Gen" I agree the first is a great game but the sequel improves upon the original in almost every way. From the missions to the combat to platforming and story. As I go for completion it is quickly becoming one of my favorite games of all time.
