Anyway, I tried Demon's Souls.

I played through the tutorial levels where you couldn't die (I tried dying, but I couldn't) and so I ran through everything and got hit a million times.

Eventually, the game throws me a boss with a giant axe.

Sup fellow MHFU newbie. Yeah, looks like we are both at the same point in the game. Is this your first MH game? It's certainly mine. I'm loving it, but I know that I will never, ever be any good at it. I think that like Pokemon, it's one of those "simple on the surface" games that you actually need to pump a million hours of time into in order to farm up the cool loot and learn how to use it. Just like with Pokemon, I'm not going to worry about that and I'm just planning to have fun hacking away at big monsters and I'll see how far I get as a total hunting idiot.

Is it wrong that I spend far too much time playing about with my Pokke farm than I do hunting? Yeah, I actually wish that part was a bigger part of things, I would love love love it if they made that like a mini-Animal crossing style game, with maybe the option to use monster parts to craft furniture and items for your home.

Holy crap, merging Animal Crossing and Monster Hunter ... that would possibly be the biggest timesink in the history of videogames. I want it.
