a foreboding 'experience' impossible on initial release: Until Dawn's motionless bits. Already relatable, gives a stronger resonance to its equivalent

Chapter 21. The chase sequences get worse. Still doesn't put a halt to thoughts re Deadly Premonition being quite the generational achievement, despite it all.

The rather lame helicopter breaks the imagery of Alex's one-inch strikes, buoyancy combined with low risk yet high straight-line speed philosophy.

Not cleared, aiming for a 1CC. Non-rechargeable double-AAs as (low) stakes / something on the line with a hint of extravagance.

Card Unlocks on Planeswalker difficulty, simply due to preference and at a reasonably intermittent pace. 2HG campaign/puzzles to complete.

Kaettekita Makaimura
Skipping PSP GnG. It's probably Astaroth being particularly monstrous, or down to bias, but the title art is pretty reminiscent of something nearby.

(not meaning I physically own a copy in any way) plus Fangs out, VV, on the PS4 UI; I do like SGnG’s title graphics also. The Japanese version of Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection.

The source would be Romero's twitter, of course. Would be a shame to revisit the charity map (inc in SIGIL 2?) without the charity aspect. Deliberately jarring played alongside Spear of Destiny AND there's no single episode structure for a warm up, but maybe it works. After all, DOOM really was id post-Wolf3D, not Spear.

id Anthology: Spear of Destiny
Wolf 3D. Appreciating part of Wolf3D's design demands boosting the difficulty up/restrictions, combine with more-challenge maps for pain or something.

a little more than trivia / for Wolf3D's 30th Anniversary: While it would make sense that Spear's level design was outsourced by iD/FormGen, is page 7 of GOG's reviews really the only place to say so? "Little known fact. My friend Larry Lytle (aka Darkstar) produced all the levels of Spear of Destiny". Wikipedia: "PC Zone quoted...top sales" isn't very useful. 6000 a year in -- www.dropbox.com/s/dr5o9j6sbhyozas/pzoneUKw.jpg?raw=1 -- shows the massive contrast for overseas IBM/PC.

More crossover content below (permanently unusable items but not a virtual coaster/New state, Collector's Edition production line, early PC* releases in ziplock bags, Vintage, earlier era) *I do draw a somewhat unifying line through 'PC' in regard to the long view. I like the parody NES/FC trading cards that come with a CE I've ordered; I see one of the $100+ (...) classic-era LucasArts official repros has the very jokey boardgame printed out...
King of Dragon Pass (1999) One particular fav. Complementing it with something I value? While they would always be described as 'crude' there's something about these silhouetted counters in their unpunched layout that's missing even if put back together again. It's a signed copy sold to raise funds so the book is centre and I wouldn't swap any of the parts out.

There's some shots of (very) used counters on an ended Dec 16th eBay listing (which from the data took a long time to sell); both NG and the earlier game, or its 'A' side - White Bear & Red Moon - are said be having new modern versions.
