The ones you listed are all good examples of the hardest games I've beaten. Punch-Out is very hard mostly because of Tyson. F-Zero GX is ridiculously difficult, even on Normal. Contra III on Hard was a tremendous challenge for me, as was Contra: Shattered Soldier (and it's only a few levels on Normal, I can't imagine going through every level in the game on Hard or worse). Outside of action games, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn was really tough. In fact, if you consider both length and challenge, Radiant Dawn is through the roof.

There is one way in which I am able to afford all the games I have: Not being in college any more. I have a good job, low cost of living, and zero debt which leaves me with quite a wealth of disposable income for the few select hobbies I have (none of them being all that expensive; gaming is probably the most so actually). It's a fortunate situation I find myself in, to be honest. My 2010 list may, in fact, be a dream but here's hoping I can actually accomplish / most of it. ![]()

You're just going to have to... train... yourself to look past them.

See, that's your problem. Using the guns so much. Just like its spiritual predecessor, System Shock 2, it's all about the wrench. Focus on using the wrench, and only use guns when you absolutely need to. (Plus, as the game goes on, you start to accumulate tonics that up the usefulness of said wrench by a tenfold. In summation, use the wrench.) Furthermore, the Vita Chambers were made to help someone like you. Death is a slap on the wrist in this game, so take advantage of that fact!

I knew about the pun-names ahead of time, so I've at least had time to prepare for them. Are there any others, like the “choo-choose” from your note?

Oh God, train puns? Ghost!Zelda had better be freaking hilarious during her massive freak-out to make up for that.

Wonderful. Sundays should continue to be fine for me, though really any day after 8 EST should work just as well. Preferably next Sunday though I might shoot for earlier in the afternoon instead of the evening, but we'll see. In the meantime, I'll have to practice, or Bunny Must Die will run me through the ringer when we go live. Not that it won't anyway.
