i did hear..and frankly, im pretty annoyed. isnt there a bigger install base for the PS3 in america compared to JPN? i mean, japan is such a smaller country..surely that the case. SE, as usual, caters completely to the JPN audience and throws NA scraps once in a while
makes me so mad!

anyway, at least its international..so we can play it with a japanese account, right? or so i gather...whats most annoying though is how we STILL dont have MGS!

well, more and more games are going into the 10 dollar bin, especially PS2 games. and its even better if youre a sports game fan! although i cant imagine how! anyway, they can get as low as like, 90 cents! if only other games would catch on in that regard...oh well. someday...

wow thats a lot. i cant even print out a single cover...dont you need all sorts of super gloss ink and special paper? i would imagine so, since those covers deff. arent normal pieces of paper...

Badges
yep! the biggest problem is walking the thin line between oversaturation and rarity...some PS2 games are like 10 dollars one week, but the next, everyone snapped them up and theyre 40 . it all comes down to knowing the companies that make the games, though...like a game all in itself. i call it "Watch-The-Market!"

i mean the remake of persona. those werent remade...those were ported to other systems; the psp was the genesis of them. and omg! i hate naked discs...or even just bejeweled ones

yeah, nothing is really connected. i mean, there very well be the occasional reference, but you really needn't play them in order. course...i am quite well known for my lack of attention to detail, soo..
remake? i think i heard of that, but i cant recall anything...for some reason, The Third Birthday keeps popping into my head, but that's parasite eve! great...now i really cant think of the PSP persona...

i hope so...people need to know how great the PSPs library truly was.

yeah, i dont even know how youd have a PS2 stick in the first place without some serious surgery on the system...it wouldnt stick on very well if you just glued it. so i guess its not so bad at all that you didnt open it up! although really, ive never had any issue with the nub...yes, it doesnt tilt, but for movement ive found it works just as good. maybe its my hand?

hmmm..i say...beats. Suikoden is good, but if i were you id hold out for the second one to come around, since its simply that much better. least we can play PSx games on it...but its annoying seeing other countries get stuff like MGS while we make do with our meager selection

Badges
well, thats good then, i guess. and...thats it for the good crash games! ever since ND dropped them, they have rapidly declined in quality, along with Spyro...but at least you had fun with them while they lasted. did you use my nub method? or did you find some other way of getting them to work?
04/02/09 at 7:49 PM EDT

Badges
yeah, i only bought it on a whim for a random save file i had lying around...its a very strange weapon to try and use, since it can only hold a handful of shots, and is essentially a zoomable sticky grenade launcher which had a permanent trigger time. with homing!...given the ultimate upgrade.

thats square for you...but at least theyre better than say, Tales Namco or Tri-Ace. i swear, both of thos companies which have all sorts of missable and very powerful items, random side conversation based quests which are never, ever pointed out to you, and and usually just deep enough so that you always feel like youre missing something...and that safe file thing is annoying. still, not as bad as golden sun 1/2. once you beat the final bosses in those games, you were given the choice to save..if you saved, you were STUCK in a very small town with nothing to do at all, unable to ever explore the world ever again. it was awful, and the only real flaw i can find with the series.

good luck with the crash games, but to my knowledge about the structural setting of the PSP, you're gunna need to take it apart, im afraid . or, try something which might work...pluck off the nub with your fingernails, and put a small piece of card paper on the bit that the nub attaches to, then put it back. the extra height should help..i think.

ooh! ooh, try a mine gun only run...not even the knife for anything, only the minegun. that would be really interesting...and ive never heard of that being attempted.

i know, its just annoying to have to waltz around everywhere and try to initiate conversations, which they themselves continue to slow the game down. it better be some of the only random hunting like this ill have to do, because really....its pretty obnoious design . i have a lot of missions, i just dont do them.

yeah, the kid that stole the wallet, i think. but there are other times when i need to interrupt the flow of an otherwise great game to go on random search quests? boooooo
yes, please do tell me when you get to that point, lol.

so youre gunna try a flat out dry professional run?
03/28/09 at 9:21 PM EDT

Badges
well, that may very well make things easier. i never got the handcannon, but i do know its really hard to aim/takes a lot to upgrade to full power/infinite ammo. seems like it would be wiser to try to get the CT before hand, since that makes the game a joke, no matter the settings.

you really should! there are many, many good PSN games...echochrome being prominent among all of those, lol. and well, thats japan...they always get games before us, for whatever reason .

i have met aeris, but im looking for some kid in a junkyard....where is he? thats what made me stuff...i hate hunt quests

ya know, i have yet to get into the materia merging at all...i simply dont understand it, much like me with any of the other systems in the game. maybe im waiting subconsciously for it to happen automatically!
im not that far into the game...whenever i load it up, i remember "that one video" of sephiroth fighting angeal/genesis on the sister ray...so i load that up, and by the time thats done i end up as having lost my concentration

what system do you have RE4 on? because that makes a big difference for professional mode...well, not huge, but in the PS2 version, the BAR can have 30 max attack, which makes it the best normal weapon in the game for handling guys...especially at a distance. the GC version's BAR can get to 18 attack..but the SAR is 15 and automatic, so it makes it the better one in the long run. so many things to consider!
im already in grad school...but im still stresses
03/25/09 at 8:34 PM EDT

Badges
oh, ok, thats not so bad whatsoever...that actually sounds to be about the same length as RE4, or at least close. 17 or so hours is really good for an action game, all told...so there goes my worried about it being "too short"

P4/3, Tales, Okami...those are all how battles should be done. fully seen on the dungeon map, but only as an icon of what they are. you can see them, and they can chase you down..or you can get the jump on them. the perfect system really.
