Just screwing around until I get the drive to play more long form games. Possibly attempting a full 5 star Island.

Thought I'd remembered that; I was just so busy marveling at how much the gyroscopic aiming improved the game. The equestrian archery minigame was one of my most hated things in the entire Zelda franchise, but I got the heart piece my first try and the quiver my third; it was NOTHING. I remember enjoying Twilight Princess overall my first time through it; the combat was fun, and the boss fights were pretty good, even if they were still just the same way my great grandmother used to kill snakes with just a shovel: stun-and-chop. She was fuckin' tough. Anyway, the dungeons utilized their respective items pretty well, too, but a lot of them were just useless once you walked outside. I respect the hell out of Majora's Mask, but the time limit is just too damn stressful for me, and just watching some of the minigames was enough to give me the shakes.

Darksiders kinda spoiled me, too, especially the second one. All the first one really did as far as design was add a jump button and a Portal gun (combat's a little deeper, too, but that doesn't really affect exploration), and I was hooked. The second one added all kinds of wall-running and other crazy shit, and I think I'll have a hard time going back to a 3D Zelda now. As I get older and grayer, you'd think I'd start to gravitate toward RPGs and other things that require less of my reflexes, but it's been the opposite for me. I do still have to try out Breath of the Wild, because it seems like it shakes up a lot of things, but I don't even have a Switch, technically; I'd probably just borrow my lady's, like I did with the 3DS.

Nice! Wind Waker's been my favorite, because it tweaks so much about 3D Zelda games, though oddly enough, they seemed to walk it all back with Twilight Princess. I think I played a little of the Master Quest in the 3DS version (it had that, right?), but didn't get far with it.

Really looking forward to it! It's going to be after the next round of completed PC games, but my Game Boy marathon was a nice little break, so I think I'm going to keep doing that with some 8-bit stuff for a while. Maybe SMS will be next?

I remember having Chaos way back when it was current! Well, my brother had it on his Game Gear. I remember it being very similar to Triple Trouble but still good. I didn't know that they had Game Gear stuff on the 3DS though. Here I went through the trouble of repairing this Game Gear. Just gotta get that screen replaced and it will perfect. I want to play the Tails games because I like Tails, but those are pretty rare is my understanding. I don't have the money for either right now.

Triple Trouble? As in Sonic Triple Trouble? I gotta get a new screen for my Game Gear so I can play that properly. I was able to finish it but squinting painfully the entire time on my aged screen.
