Hah yeah the loot drops in Diablo III get absolutely ridiculous at higher levels. I understand why they did that, they designed it to force use of the AH in the endgame stage, but from a gameplay perspective it's kind of terrible, you get all the grind of an MMO without the big world to explore and socialization of guilds and stuff like that. As it is I'm having "fun" with the AH now and have sold stuff for real money, but I pretty much lost interest in trying to progress with my character. You need to farm for ridiculous amounts of time or just have a ton of gold to get gear for the later stages of Inferno.
