☆★★★★ This game is a bit of a mixed bag. It is better than I expected, though I'm not fond of how often control is taken away from the player. I do like the avatar customization and Wispons quite a lot, however! I'm glad I gave this another shot! It's not without its flaws, but I'd say this is roughly a 7 out of 10. I'd say Colors and Generations are still much better games, however there's still a decent amount of fun to be had here. Just don't 100% it. It's really tedious to do so.

The "Stone Fists" technique is really all you need to deal with enemies and bosses. Stunlocking them with it is surprisingly easy.

☆☆★★★ So far, this has been a fairly charming game. I'm shocked the sprite animation is so expressive and good for an NES game! This is reminding me of something Wayforward might make, like Xtreme Sports or Shantae on Gameboy Color. It's a little easy to break the game with Stone Fists, so that makes it a lot easier than most NES games out there, but with some rebalancing of abilities and more enemy variety (beyond pallete swaps, I mean), we could have something really great here.

Sure it does! But everything about that game feels good for me to be honest... Leaving the ship in the rainy, music-less surface of Zebes never grows old.

Just did it, thanks for the help anyway! It's my favorite game ever, I finished it numerous times back then, but never got a 100% rate. Finally done! :D

Thank you! yeah I've been putting it off for a long time because of the multiplayer aspect, as none of my friends have it and playing it a lone is kinda of drag thanks for offering help, once I'm done with a couple of my games I'm down!

Hey sorry for late response, I've just been really busy @u@ I see you finished The World Ends With You now, what were your final thoughts on it? I really loved everything about the game, the music, the art, the story, even the gameplay (which is definitely its hardest aspect to get into, but once you do I think its rly fun), its a cool concept to have two things you gotta try to pay attention at once

the game really helped me out to be a better person too as I mentioned, cause at the start I felt a lot like Neko, no trust in other people or the world or etc., and since I related with him so much, when he grew as a person, I did too... the message at the end of "The World Begins With You" really stuck with me, and lead me to having all the friends I have now, and getting along with people in general 'u'

Oh hey, I see you're playing another of my very favorite games, The World Ends With You! I loved that one a lot, it even helped me grow as a person years ago when I first played it, hehe ^-^

Man, going from "Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time" to "The World Ends with You" is like going from an uncooked McDonalds burger with no toppings and half a bun to a Bison Burger from Ted's Montana Grill with whatever toppings and sides you want. I defy you to tell me that there exists a finer meat than Bison.

Bowser's Inside Story is amazing, one of my favorite games ever, hehe! when you get around to that one I think either the remake or the original is a good choice, both are fantastic, it's up to you which you rather do hehe! Tho, speaking of Mario & Luigi remakes, it's still annoying they skipped Partners in Time (the fact they skipped remaking it is why I went ahead and got the original version), as I am sure you can tell, it's the one that most sorely needs an upgrade, not Bowser's Inside Story which was already fantastic! but anyway.

If you like Fawful, you'll also love Bowser's Inside Story, Fawful is the main villain in that! I love Fawful too, one of my favorite villain characters hehe! his dialogue is so silly and memorable, when I played the Bowser's Inside Story remake I was impressed at how much of it I still had memorized after about a decade hehe!

I never had any softlocks, but maybe I was just lucky @u@ (I had a softlock in the Bowser Jr.'s Journey mode in the Bowser's Inside Story remake tho: [Link] ) All the games have skips like that, but dang I think that's the easiest and most egregious one XuX like, I remember Dream Team having one but it was rly convoluted and you had to clip out of bounds and stuff to make it happen

When you beat the game with this one, you're basically done, it doesn't have anything further to do in it unlike the later games. The final boss of this one I found to be pretty easy, it's like the rest of the game and not very varied, so if you can learn the couple of patterns it has you're good. it has a second part, but it's basically a minigame and shouldn't cause trouble either.

I played Partners in Time last year, and I really did feel like it was the low point of the series, I didn't think the art style quite gelled very well, the four characters at once thing was hard to get used to (it felt like, too many buttons/things to pay attention to at once), and as you mentioned, the bosses didn't have as much variety yet as they do in later games (and neither did the regular enemies). I think the series rly found its footing with Bowsers Inside Story (and, having recently played the remake of it, I still think its the best one)

one thing I did like a lot tho was this enemy: [Link] thats pretty darn creative and silly hehe!

ah, yea, the invisibility is part of the package hehe... like the rest of the game, its all about learning where things are gonna be, that dodge you want to use in clear situations, where you know you can get past an obstacle and be safe on the other side. it all takes a lot of practice! some of those stages took me hours haha!
I like my puns intended.
