I'm three hours into the game, and I'm pretty sure it's been 50% cutscenes and 50% me wandering around beating trios of thugs half to death.

After Radiant Historia, Legna Tactica, Ever Oasis and Stella Glow, I need to switch things up with something a bit more relaxing.

Minion of Bak'laag: 100+ unfinished games
Focus: Only playing one game
Ehh, I had some downtime as I was onboarding at a new job and waiting for people to be available to ramp me up on their teams. Even so, it's a shame it isn't available.

Also, while I never bothered with the main story, I still pull up HOMM3 occasionally for a fun match against the AI. Such a great game. HOMM2 as well, but 3 improved on it in nearly every way. For some reason though, the later entries never captured my interest the way that 2 and 3 did.

It looks like there's actually a version of the original artwork without the characters: [Link]

Not that I probably spent an hour over the last few days off-and-on looking for a copy of it...

Stumbled on your backlog and was just thinking that your banner looked an awful lot like the forest scene from Chrono Trigger (plus a few additions, of course), though it's been long enough since I played that I can't say for sure. Is it, or is my memory just fuzzy?

Probably gonna save them for the very end. Kind of aiming to experience as much of the classic game as humanly possible before diving right into the new stuff.

A year ago my backlog was finally getting there, the light at the end of the tunnel was visible.

Then I bought a PS4 and my backlog has more than doubled in that year. RIP me.

It's been so long since I've bought a new console, I wasn't aware there was even a Cursed badge available here.

You've beaten nearly 1,000 games, and only rated 6 of them a perfect score?

That's rough.
When someone is giving you his opinion, you should receive it with deep gratitude even though it is worthless.
