Exodus is a fun game with an interesting style, whether you're religious or not, and that's coming from someone who's as far from it as you could get! If you like it, might I suggest Crystal Mines on the NES. Same thing, and where the idea originally came from as Color Dreams made it before the change to Wisdom Tree. Exodus & Joshua used the same engine, so you'll certainly enjoy it if you like Exodus.

From what you're saying, unless these issues get patched, even $20 sounds like too much money for me. It sounds like this new team took everything good about Rocksteady's work with the first two games, and ignored most of what made them awesome to put their own spin on the series even though most of the mechanics of the first two games worked perfectly for the most part.

It's times like this that makes me kinda happy that I usually don't buy games at (or a day or two after) launch.

I just saw your last comment about Arkham Origins and decided to finally read some other people's impressions. It sucks to hear that it's not as good as the first two Arkham games (which I consider to be two of the best games this generation), but I guess that's what you get when you hand an amazing series off to another developer who probably didn't get much input from the previous developer.
