I don't think Mewtwo is out yet, but he should be fun to use. Would like to see how different his mechanics are now.

Erm, thanks I guess, I don't consider any of them as "wanking material" I just adore them and FF7 was the first jrpg that I played and it left an everlasting impression~ But yeah, whatever floats your boats. My favourite is Yuffie but maybe you already guessed it

If you want hard numbers here we go! I've currently watched anime series+ova+movies = 868 and alot of them are still on going! No idea about the current number of mangas because Hummingbird haven't got that supported yet.

I also want to say that your theme is adorable!

I think you're really underestimating how much they unborked the game; it wasn't really very challenging at all, aside from those damn wizards on Floor 59. This is coming from someone who never made it to any double-digit floor in the original. Tower of Druaga isn't an RPG, though; it's straight-up Arcade Action. Though the original is considerably deep for the genre, what's been added is more Adventure elements than anything. This remake has very light RPG elements; the items you'd get would already increase your various parameters; all this game added was the ability to increase each of them by one more after each floor you complete. The closest the series got to RPG is Nightmare of Druaga, which I'm thinking about getting; it's part of the Fushigi na Dungeon series, so it's more of a Dungeon Crawler. If NEET stands for Neurotic Effeminate Evil Temptress, then yeah; that describes me reasonably well. I haven't had much chance to rot my brain; I had to use it to survive my childhood and adolescence, and adulthood hasn't been a smooth coast, either.

I'll say; I'm just glad that the ice storm wasn't as bad as it was last year; my lady and I spent 6 straight hours chipping and shoveling - I actually collapsed from exhaustion - and all we got was enough of a runway for me to ram my way out onto the highway and hope nobody was coming.

I haven't actually tried him out very much, nor seen very many people use him. I'd assume hes great at zoning, but that's just speculation. I'll try him out later and get back to you on how he is in it.

Without guides? Oh, no, Dear; I'm not that good at cryptology. I actually used 2 guides, going back and forth between them, because they each had things that were wrong. Interestingly enough, the TurboGrafx-16 version has different reveal methods for many of the treasures, but has a lot of secondary treasures that use some of the old ones. It's a lot less clunky than the other versions - it's a remake - and you can actually switch between the different swords/armor/etc. that you've gotten thus far, which is advantageous, because they have little bonuses on top of their power. It also has light RPG elements; after each floor, you get to add a point to health, strength, shield, walk speed, attack speed, or number of pickaxe uses, and at any time, you can reduce them back down again and put them into other categories. It's a really neat concept, and an absolutely magical fix for a broken old game; it's like a dream come true for me: the Tower of Druaga that I'd always wanted.

That's fine. I have no idea what this video game fatigue everyone's discussing is all about; I've never felt that way about them. Of course, I have the added benefit of having used them to escape my soul-crushing reality when I was much younger; without that, I'd be doing my best to break my neck against a wall in a padded room somewhere.

Right now, the outdoors makes me want to scream; I've been shoveling almost every single day, whether it be snow, ice, slush, or all of the above in one semisolid entity. I'm not in my 20s anymore, and my back is reminding me of this. I just have to look at the bright side, come June, we can have everyone over to go swimming in my yard.

Not anymore, since it's not a genre I'm invested in. I've only stuck with Gundam Wing and one other series, but I forget the name of it.

I'll have to try it after I beat Blue Rescue Team or EOII. I read the article on HG101 about it and they say the DS version is the way to go since it's got both. It does look like a pretty fun little platformer.

Thanks! I guess it's nothing short of a miracle that I was able to get through the game without knowing what I do now, looking back upon it. *Raises eyebrow.* Oh really? It seems, my friend, that you and I have more in common than just a love of Taito and Irem. But yes, I will be more conscious of that in the future.

It'd be fine, anyway; I took the Dante's Inferno test, and apparently, I'm going to the 7th Circle of Hell, so a little extra damning won't hurt. I don't like movement in my strategy; my spatial disability makes it almost impossible for me to process the logistics and make good decisions. In fact, there are only 2 SRPGs to date that I've been able to drag my sorry ass through, one of which is Bahamut Lagoon, which is a lot more RPG than S. Rudra no Hihou has very strategic battles, but the actual battle system isn't a whole lot different from that of any Final Fantasy on the SNES. See, to me, RPGs are about exploration and grinding; having a timer discourages both of those things. With a slower, more deliberate game like an Action-Adventure or RPG, I like to take my time and explore at my own pace. Besides, I have more than enough anxiety in my life; I don't want more of it when I'm doing something that I enjoy. Give me a white-knuckle action challenge any day, but don't slap a time limit on my exploration.

You think so? I can't remember too many crossovers that I've played, aside from the old Valis games and maybe the Ys series, but I do know that it's borderline criminal these days to make a JRPG without using the moe aesthetic. To be fair, though, I'm not a huge fan of TV or movies in general. Huh huh; you said gaymur because I like girls. Yeah, I know you didn't; I just couldn't resist the dumb joke. It's okay; a lot of people think I'm a boy because I play boy games and I like girls and I swear a lot. I mean, I like boys and t-girls and t-boys and intersex people, too, but I definitely lean femme.

I remember playing Dragon Quarter back when I was in middle school. Sadly, all I can remember about it is that it was hard as hell and that I didn't get very far. Maybe I should give it another try at some point.
