Streetpass was definitely a neat little gimmick. I wasn't in school at the time, but I worked at a game store, so my lobby was always full after work. Those were good times.

A Link Between Worlds is sadly one of my big blind spots in my library. Hopefully it doesn't get too crazy cause I'd love to try it out soon. And yeah, needless to say but Megaten was definitely the highlight of this generation for me. It was the series that basically singlehandedly got me back into gaming and collecting after some crazy life stuff in 2013~2015.

You'll probably think I'm an old fart but my first "modern" online experience was actually the DS. I *begged* my parents to get the DS headset so I could do voice chat in online battles. I never actually got it, but those memories of dicking around online carried into the 3DS era for me. What a nice way to experience New Leaf's EOL. Like you said, I imagine that would've been a good way to take your mind off things.

My condolences for your Wii U. o7 At the very least, cemu is a very viable way to experience those titles again.

That was one of my main reasons for wanting to hunt one down. That, Demon's Souls, and the superior version of RE8. Plus I never got a PS4P, so all the games in my library that have upgrades I never got to experience!

Finally secured my PS5! It'll take another 3 weeks to arrive here though(Thanks Walmart...). As if I hadn't spent enough money already, I went and bought a PS3 and boxed Wii as well.

Well, it seems I'll be playing a lot of Square titles this year! Not only have I've doing a Kingdom Hearts marathon with a friend of mine, but I've been gifted a few Square titles over the years, and they are starting to build up. The plan will probably be to start with Chrono Trigger and continue with the rest of the FFs after I have gotten through Persona 3 Portable and Danganronpa 2. Let's hope I can stick with this project throughout the year! Although, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury and Persona 5 Strikers might change things...
