I've been enjoying the hell of it and you said it, the atmosphere is terrifying! I dread going back to it, in a good way. The lore is incredible, my wife, who watches me play, spent hours on the wiki last night, reading all about the game and she was like, "wow, can't stop reading"!

God, that hallway in the hospital with all the rooms, that was like an awesome haunted house ride, always wondering what sort of twisted stuff was waiting next door. That guy burning too, wow, that was heavy. The floating head, the rabbit, that wood stick sound falling in the bathroom... It's been awesome. When I saw the Twin Victim staring at me and then charging, man, did I panic! Creepiest thing ever!

And yes, the hardware makes all the difference. I always research every aspect of a game before choosing a platform. SH2 is best on the PS2 for various reasons, even in 480i only, but the Xbox takes the cake on this one, especially in the sound department.
