I like Omega Ruby quite a bit. Please make sure you do the small post game. It has one of my favorite moments in the series.

I got RE4 on Amazon and it just showed up yesterday. Just started playing it.

My personal threshold for this is "can it be played without owning the main game." So, is it standalone DLC? In the case of Pokemon's DLC, it's not. It's just an addition to the main game. It's not really relevant how long it took.

Others that would not count are Elder Scrolls, Dragon Ball Kakarot, Fallout, Horizon, etc. Because they have DLC that cannot be played without the base game being installed.

Far Cry Blood Dragon is an example of one you could count. While it is 'DLC' for Far Cry 3, you can buy it by itself without owning Far Cry 3 and play the entire game to completion. Dead Rising: Case Zero, inFamous First Light, Uncharted Lost Legacy, and Blood and Wine apply as well.

This is just how I like to handle it. That is why I labeled the DLC on my list the way I did. So, that way we can still talk about it without it effecting my overall count.

If they release the game again on PC, I'll probably just re-buy them.

I thought about buying the Layton games, but one of them wasn't available. I think it was Lost Specter. You can get all the rest between Android and eShop. I'm actually just going to wait on that series and hope they put out a big collection one day. Maybe when the new game come out.

No. They are going to release them again. I don't care what the price is.

I realize the eShop is going down very soon. It would make a lot of sense to purchase the remaining Ace Attorney games before they are lost to me forever.

I've decided they are going to release them on the Switch and/or Steam in the next year or so. All of them. Including the one that wasn't translated.

Knowing that, I don't want to waste my money now that the manifesting has begun.

I'm sure it's not super important, but I find it strange that you are doing the DLC out of order. I know they are both their own thing, but still weird.

I like it better than the first game. I think a big part of that is the length and general robustness of cases. None of them were actually longer than the final case of the first game. It's not way better or anything, but I do think it's better. I'll be onto the third game hopefully sometime in April. There are a couple pit stops along the way.
