I played Underground Blossom too early.

I went to check out the Steam page and I see an announcement on it. They are doing a free update to the game. When? Oh...later today.

Of course. That's okay. I can hop back in and see what it's all about I think. Just funny how that worked out.

Edit: It also looks like there is more to The Past Within, but people are still figuring it all out.

I actually saw those videos a long time ago and it's how I first saw the game. It's my understanding that it's something fans pieced together. It's not a fan translation that can currently be applied in that game. Maybe one day though. At the very least I'll use those videos to get the story.

I got that Mega Man Legends phone game set up now. Sadly, I don't read Japanese, so I'm missing a lot. Looking forward to playing some more.

I knew of the game, but I did not realize they finally got it playable for everyone. Once I get set up again I'm going to play it for sure.

In FES at least, it just sends you back to the title screen. So, if I go up 15 floors (no save in between) and die, then I have to do it again.

I see they changed Mudo and Hama in most of the future games. In this game it has a low chance to hit, but always kills if it hits.

I'm not sure if they will have it in this game, but in Strange Journey they actually have better versions of the spells and they had multi-target versions. If they cast Mahanmaon it's a high chance of instant death on all targets.

You know, I remembered Hama/Mudo from SMT: Strange Journey. I knew it was in this game. Still, the first enemy that just one shots your main character and sends you to the title screen is always shocking.

I get you, but we have to remember it's not really that old. It came out after games like FFXII. It's certainly not clunky or anything.

I just wanted to play this version is all. Reload isn't a remaster, it's a very different looking and playing game. This version has it's quirks and oddities I'm sure, but this is the game I wanted to play when I bought it all these years ago.

To me, this isn't like playing Person 4 Golden compared to Persona 4, where one is just a better version of the same game. This is the original Resident Evil to REmake. Playing both still has value.
