It's been 7 years already? I'm so old.

Yeesh, is Star Ocean on SFC really that bad? Lack of variety? How does it compare to the PSP remake? The SFC version was one of the games I got translation patches for and imported for my Retron 5. Even got a case for Star Ocean...and some other SNES/SFC/Gen/MD/NES/FC games. I'm just pissed off that I can't find art for like, every semi obscure game. You'd think at least Sweet Home would be there, since that seems to be a more popular one, I think.

oh yeah, I adore Zero Mission. Whenever I recommend Metroid to people, I make them start with ZM. I love the speed of the game; makes it feel completely different than Super and Fusion (and a ton more manageable). It's also super easy so that's another reason.

I must say though, I've been enjoying Super a ton as well. I *sorta* liked Fusion but it was too combat focused to warrant any other playthroughs. I swear to god Samus' Fusion Suit is made of fucking glass.

nah, but I do dig the series. Get the issues people have with it, but I've become resigned to the fact that I like meticulously tedious games (I think its from all the collect-a-thons and RPGs I played when I was younger). Metroid games have enough going for them otherwise for me to enjoy the heck outta 'em either way. Finding a bunch of stuff in a world is my weakness.

Ugh, I'm so jealous that your playing MM3D. I've been itching to play Majora again, been thinking about that game a lot lately, and have found some new respect for it in the process (not that I didn't already think it was amazing).

Yeah, its really janky a lot of the time, but that was what I wanted so I dig it. It's just bizarre to play. I never know what to expect the game to do next so it keeps me on the edge of my seat. Still ain't super far so if it gets really bad by the end, haven't gotten there yet.

So far the worst part for me has been that one desert town. I though something cool might happen if I do the whole tour. It didn't.

In general though, I've been way slower than I've wanted to be with playing games. I have trouble keeping focused on one game at a time, but I have a bunch of games I want to play. Everything is just in a stalemate of "oh shit what do I want to play". That coupled with school has stopped me from making much progress on anything that isn't schoolwork. Actually been walking a lot lately, so it hasn't been all bad I guess.

Is Katamari Forever worth getting at all? Or should I just stay away and stick with the first two?

I can relate. I've haven't been able to play games (or do much of anything really) due to school. Also my PSP completely dying made me lose the will to play games for a while, so add that in.

I guess I'm not much better with neglecting Skies myself...I think the last time I played it was a few months ago too. I'm a good deal farther than you, though. For me, it's not an issue of work/school, it's laziness and/or having too many other things to play.
