Sonic Superstars feels a continuation of Sonic 4 - physics aside.
Its tries to harken back to the Genesis era of Sonic games without providing its own identity, while also distinctly lacking any sort of polish.

The game is simply bad.

Y'know, I never did play the Wii sequel (though I do know a few plot details)! I own R but never bothered modding my Wii. After finishing my recent Last Window replay, I decided I'd finally look into addressing that soon, since R is the one Nintendo / Cing title I never played and it felt like it was time I fixed that. But now I'll just wait for Another Code: Recollection—I've waited over a decade to play R; a few more months won't hurt.

I rarely buy games on release these days, but Recollection is, of course, a Day 1 purchase for me. Have you seen the box art, by the way? It looks really nice! It's based on a piece Kanasaki drew last year [Link] and I'm glad he's back for this.

Next time I come on an "errand trip" to my sister's place, I hope I can get Pac-Man World Re-Pac and Cuphead Limited Edition (the standard edition isn't available in the stores in the shopping mall nearby but the had plenty of Limited Editions, which people seem to not want).

I actually still need to get around to Metroid Dread and Prime Remastered. I’m not in a rush to start the latter, but I’ve been really eager to finally start Dread. …But I told myself that I need to finish Resident Evil Zero and Symphony of the Night first. They’ve been in my backlog for a very long time and I want to change that.

Yeah, FighterZ is fun. Its fast, intimate nature really captures the anime well. And if you try Illusion Island, please let me know what you think.
