Welcome to this mess known as my Backloggery, which will be read/seen/heard of by very few. In any case, feel free to see my
mildly decent collection of games.
I'll try to update as soon as possible when something relevant is done.
My early 2023 Gaming Resolutions revolved around the Wii U and the 3DS thanks to their eShops closure. I didn't get games available physically or 3DS Themes. It's now over, what was bough was bought and what wasn't wasn't. A final list of my intended purchases can be found here: [Link]
-If possible, get about 4 hard drives. One of those will be a backup of the Wii U one and another as general Gaming Backup.
-Find a way to back up amiibo data to use them interchangeably between Smash 4 and Ultimate.
-Try to make sense of the data related to Nintendo games when seen on a computer and put it on a notepad list. For example, Wii data is shown with the games' IDs (RSPE = Wii Sports), DSiWare games with Hex Codes (4B445845 = X-Scape). 3DS and Switch use (sees a bunch of
nonsensical arrays of numbers and letter)... the hey they use?
-Continue getting amiibo figures while I still can.
This year I've gotten Simon and Smash Meta Knight.
-This one came to mind recently: get loose shovelware games on the cheap (discarding/destruction of the board is optional) to use as caps/covers for the cartridge slots of my handheld systems. I need 2 for Game Boy (Color), 3 for Game Boy Advance,
2 for the DS
and a 3DS game. Maybe one for Switch to future proof it, despite its cartridge cover.

Some of the systems I own have various problems:
-My Virtual Boy doesn't have the kickstand and the black visor and it seems to have a false contact in the right eye. But it's still functional. I actually missed a chance to get another one in better conditions recently.
-My Wii cannot read discs, the internal memory seems to be corrupted and now it has problems to boot up properly when I do want to use it for WiiWare and Virtual Console. Will be fixed eventually, too. Hopefully the downloads can be saved.
If not, the system will be reluctantly modded.
-My Game Boy Advance SP's battery is dead.
-My Nintendo DS's Top Screen doesn't display anything, the Touch Screen seems to have calibration problems and the battery is dying, not mention it's also swollen.
-My Nintendo DSi XL's Microphone doesn't seem to work anymore. Might just need a cleaning, though. Thankfully I have the official Nintendo DS Headset, which was widely advertised for Pokémon Diamond/Pearl.
-My Lenovo tablet isn't really the best to play on. It can run games...like garbage.
If I have a lot of e-Reader "games", is because I actually listed all of my cards with e-Reader scannable Dot Codes. Maybe one day I'll change it to list only the minigames and the in-game screens.
I've gotten some Japanese games in the last few years, so those will be listed with their original Japanese title and the translated title in the comments section unless they're in one of these categories:
*They're distributed, unchanged version.
*They're part of a western compilation.
*The official Japanese name is written in English.
As mentioned before, I live in Mexico and my mother tongue is Spanish, but I have a C1 Level in the CEFR. Due to that, some of the games I played are in Spanish, and some terms and words vary, sometimes slighty
