How The Vltg3 Plays. ▼
Unplayed = Unplayed/Unopened.
Completed = Platnium/1000gs, I dont really care much about DLC trophies.
Mastered = Not using this marker, would throw the Completed games out of order.
Yes, still own a lot of games I've never removed the plastic wrapper from or even started (Digital included)
I Do NOT 100% all games, only those I loved, felt worthy to crown with the Platinum or my 100% Time-wasted/used.
But...Currently own almost every game I have an ounce of interest to even Try, so I feel like most, if not, all off the ones in my list will be Platinums/1000gs'd.
Using Trophies and Achievements as trail markers for what games I've played and what I loved (100%/Plat)
I own games I liked the game's concept and/or the demo. so I do have a lot of underrated games, they just scream many fun-trips learning new things, thinking new ways to play and of course most of the times the games have some flaw; crap controls, looks, missing features I've become used to, playing newer games. I play them because I want to; heard about it, looked it up, liked it, got it. thats it, simple. My collection mainly consists of "old" games I can find for <$40 in the usual places. Bonus; most underrated games fall into the bargain-bins anyways. so win-win for me.
I've started boycotting buying Launch games, my backlog is too huge, by the time I get to the game I paid the full $59.99, they end up dropping to <$29.99, so its a huge money sink for me to invest in launch pricing, I've learnt my lesson too many times, I'm tired of looking at transaction history and realizing I paid so much for a game that is now less than 50% what I initially paid.
I'm definitely no "real" collector, I plan to sell/trade-in the games I've 100% so I cant really call my self a Game Collector.
Money buys more games so I see no reason to hold onto money encased in plastic cases or systems.
