I should also add that I love your current avatar. I love Wario, and Wario Land 4 is my favorite Wario game.

Sorry for the late reply! Using the map patch will effect the Mapper spell, but it's so convenient, and you only need to use it in certain dungeons anyway imo.
There is an amazing guide with maps on Gamefaqs too!

If you have any questions while playing, I can try to help. Now that I recovered my password lol............

DOS setup eh? Hardcore. I've never been a computer gamer, but I do like the aesthetics of old computer games like Jill of the Jungle, Pharoah's Tomb, Lode Runner, and the like. Four colors and h aving sound go through PC speakers, if ya catch my drift? I know Maniac Mansion is more advanced than that, but still.

Thank you!

Honestly at a certain point in the past 2-3 years I started nulling or removing games from my Backloggery I had no interest in finishing, which has helped immensely. For the sake of my mental health and because I have less time to play games than I used to, I try to stop playing games when I feel I've had enough.

If I kept those games , I would likely have a sizeable backlog again, but these days I don't have the patience for it anymore.

It's true, there's nothing wrong with trimming, and trim I did. RPGs from this generation are really unnecessarily long and convoluted. Once I saw the calendar system in Tokyo Xanadu I thought "oh no, they're trying to copy Persona, just like they did with Cold Steel."

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel was when I decided how tired I was from RPGs. It's as MrFwibbles says, RPGs nowadays have to be big long slogs. Characters like to talk. A lot. And all the extra stuff is just needless padding in my eyes, even if they can be beneficial for the characters in battle. Maybe it's because I'm not in my teens or twenties anymore, and RPGs like this aren't really doing it for me anymore. But also, something like this, I'd rather just play Persona.

As for the Yakuza games, I just lost interest. I really wanted to play them, but my mentality thought otherwise.

Wario: Perfect!

The thing I remember most about Seaman is when you boot up the game and images of the controller, VMU, and mic pop up if they're disconnected or out of memory.

"Has your controller been disconnected?"
"Please check the microphone" (or something.)
"There is not enough memory space on the memory card."

All by Leonard Nimoy. Ah, Seaman was totally a product of that bygone era of when the Dreamcast was still strong. Then the PS2 came out.

"Dreamcast was a turd. PlayStation 2 would kick it's ****ing ass. Sony has always laid the smackdown on other companies." - Quote from somebody on Game Informer, as seen on issue 100.
