Meah, it is the same as the first game, except the music is crappier. Kind of mad I wasted $70.

Hey man, it's going pretty good. I've been quite busy lately with school, though, so I haven't had much time to really keep updated on here. I'm still getting new games, though. How are things going with you lately?

I finally beat Final Fantasy II on the GBA. Stupid Blood Sword made The Emperor way too easy though. I tried it without the Blood Sword as well as without the Muramasa, and trust me, it's HARD. The Emperor pretty much heals himself with one HP-stealing melee attack. Not good...especially when you have trouble dealing like, 300 damage when he deals 2000+!

I absolutely can't wait for Arc Rise Fantasia to hit the USA this summer. Monster Hunter Tri is definitely on my list. I pre-ordered the pro bundle about a month ago and I can't wait to see what the whole game is like. I've played it with the demo disc, and it's definitely one of the best looking, non-HD games that I've played. Nothing can compare to Final Fantasy XIII though, but then again, that's HD.

I'm definitely thinking that the Wii is going to rise up this year, now that developers seem to know just what the Wii can actually do. I'm just hoping that the localization of Arc Rise Fantasia doesn't flop. I haven't heard much good about Ignition Entertainment, but, then again, you never know. Although, Muramasa: The Demon Blade wasn't bad at all in my opinion.

Erm...maybe I should have put this in a PM. Anyway, I hope things are going well with you.

I love it, of course! My only major gripe is that the music's magic was lost somewhat in the port... but the game's still ultimately fun in the end, so it's not too big a deal.

Christ in a sidecar, you finally updated your Backlog! Sorry to hear about ESPGaluda II, though. I came THIS close to getting Triggerheart Exelica and Mushihimesama Futari, but decided against it. I like shooters, but I just don't have what it takes to 100% them. Hell, it's been seven years and I still haven't beaten Ikaruga.

Confused: Playing 10+ games at once
Final Fantasy XIII isn't nearly as bad as people say. It's just not traditional. The "monster hallways" exist, but there no different the completing a mission in any other game. It actually helps accell the story which is really good. Also the combat is great, loving it and it gets so in depth later in the game.

Also Nice Gundam00 SIG

:O Can you do that with a UK PS2? I've got a Jp PS3 I use for my Jp PS2 games, and I use a slim UK Ps2 for PAL stuff - would that really work? *goes on mad US game buying spree*

Thanks for the offer, but these days I've only got Jp and PAL hardware so it wouldn't do me any good

I can undersxtand why WD never bothered wiht Europe - if it took them all those years to translate a single game into English, how long do you think it would take them to organise the French, German, Spanish, Italian and Dutch translations too?

Where's "here"?

"Here", we've only ever had Heritage of War, and nothing more.

Your reminding has reminded me to get some pics of those MD guidebooks I bought for you - I'll take photos in the morning and post up on GUG

Yeah, originally it was a two-disc PS1 game. This version has a few extras, but nothing revolutionary.

I like the battle system, but the plot is ridiculous - the hero's mother (who also happens to be the royal families magician) has been poisoned in an attack by a mysterious group and has at best a month to live - and yet instead of say... trying to find out who these people were and finding a cure you instead faff around picking flowers and relaxing in hot spring baths instead! You get the odd cutscene where everyone suddenly seems to remember, but most of the time they act like she's just having a little lie down.

Ha. I had to push the difficulty DOWN on Dodonpachi Daioujou BLEX which is probably where I'm spending the most time at the moment. I'm not a bullet hell cultist but I'm not bad at that type of STG... but this game's reputation for difficulty is well-deserved. My 11-year-old said it reminded him of Mars Matrix which is a really astute observation considering this he doesn't much care for this type of game at all. He likes DDPBLEX on two player though. Turning the difficulty down doesn't change the game all THAT much, just fewer bullets... the boss patterns seem to be mostly the same. On Deathsmiles the difficulty level DOES change the game a lot. Complete different enemy patterns and the bosses have all new attacks.

I take it Shadow Complex is the nads. I want to get it but I have the crap to sort out about how I'll manage both JPN and USA accounts on my 360.

The Now Playing list on here is just what I'm actively working on 'at the moment'... like 'in rotation over the immediate future'. I don't want to add EVERYTHING I'm in the middle of, like that I've set aside for a week/month or it just gets too discouraging... which is sorta defeating the purpose of this site, I think.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind...although I don't exactly have a Dreamcast to play it on.

I think I had all three SF3s on my computer at one point, but I guess I deleted them when I realized that the PS2 version was the best of the bunch.

That's pretty cool. I mean, I'd probably just watch it on Youtube or something, but hey, DVD's good too.

I kinda want to get Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike before I get SF4(despite SF3 being my least favorite SF game). Besides, I'm sure if I wait long enough I could get it for a pretty good price.

Thanks man, you solved a serious Christmas list dilemma for me. If I get a job, I'll pick up King of Fighters XII whenever I can, but I won't bother wasting a Christmas wish on it, if you know what I mean. Now I just need to decide whether to get Tekken 6 or BlazBlue...or SF4...or DOA4...or Soul Caliber 4...okay, this is still tough. But at least you knocked one out of the running for me.

I see the link works now, good job.

Eh, truth be told, I never really watched much of Transformers: G1, but what I did watch back in the day, I liked. Where are you watching it? I think I might want to catch up on what I missed.

Oh, and before I forget: Awesome theme you got there! While I'm not a fan of the series, giant robots are always cool.
