Good deal! Glad you enjoyed it!

Speaking of enjoying things, your banner is awesome - so many things that I like! Nicely put together!

Ahoy there! Do I know you from somewhere, or is this a random add? I don't mind either way, but I always like asking because people sometimes use different usernames on different sites.

Enjoying it for what it is, though I don't expect to replay it once I get the Platinum.

Finished the Codexes up on Saturday so I'm all done with the game. Though the one thing I'll definitely be doing every so often is beating the final boss to see the new Golden Ending again.

Are you going for all of the Codex photos or just going to finish up DQ8 with the last ending?

That sounds promising. I enjoyed Phantom Hourglass quite a bit. I was hoping to get the series done before Breath of the Wild, but that's not going to happen at this point. Maybe by the end of 2017.

How did you like Spirit Tracks? If you played it, how did it compare to Phantom Hourglass?

Spirit Tracks is one of the few Zelda games I have yet to play/finish.

Thanks! Yeah the dialogue alone has been worth it so far, haha. "What in the name of the Lost Levels?!" was one of my favorites. Good stuff. Just been recently playing FFXIV, too, trying to hit 60.

Thanks for the Wooly World congrats. Definitely in my top three of last year. Every so often I make a bit more progress on that 100%...

Hello!

Undertale is a great game: good-looking 8-bit graphics, inspired music and an Earthboundish feeling which is always a good thing.
It's a turn-based RPG with a peculiar aspect: you can either kill all enemies when you face them and talk your way out (even bosses!) and these two different approach can change your experience: I killed all the enemies in the first level and started an eerie music and my character was considered a monster, in the second dungeon I spared everyone and NPCs treated my main friendly.
Dialogs are a bit simplistic, not in the way of, let's say, a Shin Megami Tensei game: you simply select a way to talk or act to the foe and see what happens; there's also a "SPARE" function that may let you to end the fight and sometime earn money.
But what I like the most are the battles themselves: to attack you have to do a rhythm thing similar to Mother 3 combo while when enemies attack, you have to dodge their blows in a way similar to shoot 'em up games, really fun, if you like shooters - and I do!
Overall, and considering it up the point I've reached, a recommended game!

Also, I'm quite interested in Dragon Quest Heroes but still don't have a Sony home console since PS2.

Hullo, nice spooky theme!

Dragon Quest Heroes is pretty good, I'm glad it's feels more like a Dragon Quest game in structure, but I think I'm still kind of worn out on the Warriors style gameplay from Hyrule Warriors (could never really get into any of the Dynasty/Samurai Warriors series due to the tedium). I love Dragon Quest though, and seeing the old characters pop up is great. I don't think I'm too far in the story yet, but I can't really tell. So far it's pretty middle of the road, but I'm not sure what all is on offer really yet. Had to pick it up immediately to support Dragon Quest though, I need those Monsters and 7 remakes haha.

Hi! I really enjoyed Xenoblade a lot, it's arguably my favorite game I've ever played along with Okami (though I don't play much non-Nintendo stuff, so I don't have a lot of expertise in games that can't be played on a Nintendo system). I even managed to convince one of my friends to get the Wii version, which I really wish now that I could get too.

I used gamefaqs.com for Xenoblade Chronicles. They had a variety of guides for sidequests, character trees, etc., and so I printed 'em off, read them through to see the order in which they came, and then checked off the ones I had completed. You have to check it pretty regularly to ensure you don't miss anything, but I highly recommend it.

For Xenoblade, I did as much of a 100% run as is possible to do on one playthrough. There are a few (2 or 3? I can't remember) sidequests that you have to make a choice between 2 options on how they will play out. Then on the next playthrough you can do the sidequest the other way. I would say that I completed 99% of the game (I was a wee bit perturbed that I couldn't 100% after getting so close). Totally worth it, though! Yeah, there are a TON of kill this many monster, get this many item sidequests, but it really helps you to build up your levels, get items for crafting, etc. That game is truly incredible and I am so excited that we actually have a release date for X!

I did get it from the Humble Bundle! Whole reason I purchased it actually. It's a Metroid-vania game. Platformer based around exploration basically. You might like it. Give it a shot!

Just wanted to let you know that I thought Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings of the Lost Ocean and The World Ends with You were phenomenal games. I saw that you hadn't played them and decided I would tell you my opinion on 'em. Baten Kaitos is actually my favorite game of all time (yes, the voice work sucks, but everything else is near perfection imo). There is actually a sequel/prequel called Baten Kaitos: Origins that is very nearly as good as the first one. Also, did you happen to buy the Nindie Bundle? I saw that you had all the games listed from that bundle (having purchased it myself) and was just wondering if you had done the same. Anyway, I enjoyed looking through your collection and I love your banner! Happy gaming!
