Wow, thanks! I also enjoy looking at people's review scores and the little blurbs they write up for the games they play. I have thought of starting to do little write-ups for each game I finish, but then I would feel compelled to do that for every single game I own and have already finished. 14 years on the Backloggery site, plus having finished many of these games when I was a kid (36 years old now) just seems too daunting of a task for me to now start writing up reviews. I think I will just continue to keep to my normal routine of giving each game I finish a star rating. I do like that the new site will have the option of half stars as well: 3.5, 4.5, etc ratings. Plus, I'm always happy to chat with anyone about my ratings on a game or just my thoughts in-general on a particular game.

Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge is a game I missed out on when I was younger, and it has always been a game I've wanted to play. Sadly, the price of the game is a bit high right now. Every time I see it at my local game store I do get the urge to just pull the trigger and buy it. Glad to hear that you enjoyed it so much, and hopefully I'll be able to do the same some day soon!

Congrats on finishing Grim Fandango! Yeah, I'm sure you'll enjoy them more and more as time goes on. Plus, it can be worth using a guide because the puzzles really can be moon-logic level, but a lot of the stories, worlds, characters etc. are worth seeing evolve as the games progress.

Others I'd recommend are the Monkey Island series, King's Quest series, Day of the Tentacle, Beneath a Steel Sky, Full Throttle, Space Quest series, Sam & Max Hit the Road, and the LucasArts Indiana Jones adventure games ( Last Crusade and Fate of Atlantis).

Hey hey! Saw your comment about Trojan on Drum's page and decided to just pop in!

Very excited to see you playing Grim Fandango! It is my favorite game of all time, even though some of the puzzles are very confusing and have absolutely no logic to them. However, the world, characters, story, humor, etc. within the game are all amazing!
