☆★★★★ So far I really enjoy it! For a hack and slash game, it's a simple romp where you just go off and kill enemies. Though the simplicity doesn't feel too underwhelming and you can still have a lot of fun/planning early on.
Occasionally playing coop with some irl friends, but otherwise I'm still gathering items and starting a new mage playthrough. So much replayability! Achievements: 88 / 88 (100%)

★★★★★ Have all: Eh I'll update this when I finish my checklist. Mastery: Made a crazy checklist in Excel. Not as easy as you think. Though I will eventually get all the items!
Final Fantasy V
(36:38, Level: 84) Grindfest time! Then the Cloister, any missing chests, mastering Necromancy, and a rematch with Exdeath. Achievements: 84 / 96 (88%)

☆★★★★ (Birthday gift from my sister. Thanks! :)) If we can disregard that it's a port, I can say that on the plus side, it's got the classic music, a decent enough translation, and all the added content from FF5A. On the minus side, I don't like the way the characters and portraits look, the text does look a bit crappy on a PC (obviously more made for mobile), and the UI doesn't look and function as good as the original (but it's odes better than VI). 5 star game, 3 star version!
Gothic 2
So far it seems to be more stable and more polished than Gothic 1. Except the combat, which is somehow worse.

Halfway through the 5th world. Man, I need to take a break and play something good!

☆☆★★★ Granted this was a DLC/add-on, it doesn't change the fact that this game isn't that much fun.
Final Fantasy Dimensions
(62:36, Level: 85-99) Fully mastered chars: 2. All F-Ability chars: 0. Grinding, getting F abilities.

☆★★★★ It's not bad. There's some references to FF4 & 6, and it's a lot like 5 with the different worlds. Controlling two sets of characters is alright, but really slow sometimes. The challenge is there, but there's also a lot of enemy encounters, sometimes too many. I did like the selection of jobs (except for the Memorist and Dancer, and the Bard to a lesser extent). I overall like our protagonists, too. Worth giving a look!
Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders
Two episodes down. I really suck at these types of games.

☆★★★★ (Birthday gift from WolfenAmphithere. Thanks! :)) It's basically Doom for nerds, but it puts its own spin on various elements which make the game enjoyable on its own right.
Guitar Hero: World Tour
(Medium, Campaign Progress: 45%) Gonna switch to hard for the second half of the game.

☆★★★★ It's the same old Guitar Hero that everyone knows and either loves or hates. This game has a pretty nice variety of a soundtrack overall, but I don't know if it's just me, but this game feels a lot slower compared to the past games.
Puzzle Dimension
168 flowers. 51/100 levels. Achievements: 15 / 25 (60%)

☆★★★★ So far it's not too bad. There's nothing too special about it, but it's a good way to pass time and get the gears in your head spinning.
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
(Normal, Protector Level 16) Finished up in the Rookery. I appreciate the random hidden content I've been finding. Achievements: 8 / 50 (16%)

Backlog Review – Sonic Adventure DX: Direct...

Back in the day, when renting Gamecube things at your local Blockbuster was still a thing, I picked this game up. I had just recently been getting more into the Sonic games, and I heard this game was really fun. For the one week that I had it, I play...

Totally agree. So, for starters, let us work our way to beat those games in the backlog.

And no, I don't think we met before. Am I familiar to you?

Minion of Bak'laag: 100+ unfinished games
On Fire: 3 beat or complete in a row
Tell me about it. So many games set to come out and I have a bunch of older games I never finished. It honestly seems like there's no time at all to play all your games unless you're a millionaire and don't need to do anything else.

Minion of Bak'laag: 100+ unfinished games
On Fire: 3 beat or complete in a row
Meh, no biggie. I have like 300 other games to play so it's not a big loss. I'll get back to it some day, issues and all.

In this day and age going back to games without auto-saving is hard. I tried the original Saints Row once. Not an auto-save to be seen and I lost a lot of progress. Not to mention the game is bat-shit insanely difficulty.

I tried the original Gothic once. It was okay. I forgot auto-saving wasn't a thing and lost about 3 hours of work when I died. Not a pleasant experience.
And so the battle continues.
