Thanks! I've put Wizardry on hold for a while as I work my way through the Armored Core games. VI was a recent pickup, but I am determined to finally finish all of the intervening chapters before giving it a go! There is quite a long way to go yet, but it's a good time for sure.

Interestingly enough, I finally got the Wizardry bug myself. Same plan as yours was...play the trilogy & import chars through to the end. Let's see if I can manage to stifle my revulsion at how clunky 6 is.

Also, I'm nowhere near it yet (just now hitting my stride in the castle basement) but man am I dreading that golem you were talking about years back!

Sleep: Not playing anything
Back to video gaming, playing one game at a time, focus on Mad Max and looking for a 'Lovecraftian' (secondary) game on any platform - recommendations welcome.

Wizardry needs to wait, 3/6 characters dead, need to backtrack to buy resurrect potions / scrolls. Having to consult handdrawn maps ~2years ago won't be easy - it has to wait until i'm interested again.

Mortal Kombat 5 ( 2000 ) for the Genesis

Unlicensed sega game by unkown developer. Assets and sfx are 'borrowed' from other Mortal Kombat games.
Apparently it is a side scrolling beat'em up game, featuring Subzero as the protagonist.

Resident Evil Revelations (2013 ) for the PS3

Surprisignly good controls and less FPSy than RE 5.
Nice gfx. Stupid and pretentious convoluted story.

Raid mode is expanded and fun.

Barkley: Shut Up and Jam! ( 1994 ) for the Genesis

Nothing special graphics and sound wise, especially when there is NBA JAM on Genesis.
Very easy 2 vs 2 street basketball, won the tournament on the first play. Move on.

Zukkoke Yajikita ( 1987 ) for the MSX2 by HAL Laboratory, Inc.

Hm this is a tough one, seems it is an obscure goemon style rpg for MSX2. The only way to play this is emulation. Checked PROJECT-EGG just in case it is there, and searched for releases on other platforms as well, but nothing.

Thankfully, there is a fan translation for the game, but i will have to setup MSX2 emulation though.
