And what you've said about the game, and story, definitely sounds amazing, and I'm happy to say that since your comment, I have purchased the original Diablo Battlechest off of Ebay. Came with Diablo, Diablo 2, Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction, and all the original manuals, serial numbers, and even an D2, and D2:LoD strategy guide, which might come in handy. I haven't tried them yet, but hopefully in the next week I will be able to.

And finally, for Gears of War. I'm really happy you're enjoying the game. Especially since last friend I recommended it to, ended up selling it day after he bought it. >_<

But yeah, that's what I love about Gears. The atmosphere, the story, the characters, the weapons, and of course, the gameplay. Which is near perfected in Gears of War 2. I am so excited for Gears of War 3. And I'm finally happy to say, that in this past XP multiplier event for Gears of War 2's multiplayer, I FINALLY, after like a year since the multiplayer leveling system came out, reached level 100. Which takes a massive, 6.8 MILLION XP. Which may not sound like a lot for some games, but after you play a few games of MP in this game, and wrap your head around the way the leveling works in this game, you might get a liiiitttle bit discouraged. Haha. Felt great finally getting it out of the way though, and completing Gears of War 2. I'm now replaying the original game, which in some ways feels better than the sequel.. It had a darker, more horror themed feeling... The second one is less glitchy, more polished, and still an amazing experience, but the original definitely has a great feel still...

And whoo, I think that about wraps it up. Again, sorry about the stupidly long delay between our last comments, and I promise in future comments, I'll get back to you MUCH quicker. So again, sorry about that. And the really long comment too for that matter... Haha.

I also got your friend request on Xbox Live too! So maybe we can get some multiplayer gaming going soon! Take care!

P.S. Any new games already out, or coming out sometime in the next few months you wanna pick up? And are you really loving Starcraft? I'm definitely picking that one up soon here too. And maybe Warcraft III. Dunno though.

And as for God of War: Chains of Olympus. I tried the demo, and I definitely want to pick up the main game sometime. Especially since it's very affordable now. I also need to pick up the GoW collection, and GoW 3 on PS3. When I get and play all of those, I'll definitely let you know how I enjoyed them. Which reminds me, you hear about the new GoW title coming to PSP? Ghost of Sparta?

And oh yeah, Kirby is awesome. I loved the SNES title Kirby Super Star, the compilation of Kirby games... Oh man... The memories. Kirby: The Crystal Shards was amazing too. I totally feel like going back and playing those now... Haha. And I agree, Nintendo is really getting some exciting new additions. I don't know about you, but the announcement of the 3DS? BLEW. ME. AWAY. Like seriously, I'm so excited now. Soon as I heard, Ocarina of Time, my ALL TIME favorite game, was being remade for the system.... I might have shed a tear or two... Haha.

And that's great to hear, and if I may ask, what kind of applications are you working on? And I definitely know what you mean about time consuming, as I've looked into maybe doing a project myself. But that's just a thought and bit of a dream at the moment... Haha. I know what you mean about the weather too. Been crazy over here lately too, but it's finally starting to become a nice balance between cool, and warm. Not too much of one or the other. Pretty nice.

And oh yeah, I'm totally on board with Diablo, and actually, Borderlands does almost the same thing, and respawns all enemies, bosses, weapons, everything, when you reload. Or after a certain amount of time. However, Borderlands is actually a fairly short game compared to Diablo as far as I know, clocking in at about 32 hours... I'm okay with grinding too, I actually sorta like it in the right game. Sounds good to me.

Oh man, first off, again, sorry for reaaaally late reply, but thank you for the wonderful comment, which has been EXTREMELY helpful!

Yeah, I've had Dead Rising a long time, beat it when I first got it, but haven't played it for AGES, so I picked it up again recently. Such an awesome single player zombie experience... While the aiming is a bit wonky, and some of the design choices are odd, it is a very well made game, with a lot of challenge. Which is really great.

As for Gran Turismo PSP, it came with my PSP. I got the Silver Pack with the PSP 3000 over here in the states recently. I loved GT3 on the PS2, and have the original two. I like Gran Turismo, but I'm not too huge on racing games. I like them, but I have a hard time getting into them. This one has been the same. As a portable racing game though, it is exceptional. Tons to do for lovers of the genre. It also has a lot of attention to detail, but as you mentioned, it will take a VERY long time to complete, as there is a ton of stuff crammed onto this UMD. It's basically PS2 Gran Turismo in your pocket.

Resistance: Retribution, THAT I went out and purchased. Only ran $20 USD too. Which is an absolutely awesome price for this game. Basically, think PS3 Resistance, but on a slightly smaller scale, and in your pocket. It's got a full on multiplayer mode, great single player campaign, great controls, and tons of replay value. Story is on par with the games on the PS3 too. Cept I think James Grayson actually has a little more personality than Nathan Hale from the console titles. If you don't already have this one, I definitely without a doubt recommend picking it up. It even has some cool features for those who have Resistance 2 on PS3, which allows you to connect it, and either infect the PSP, which infects the main character with the Chimera virus. He regenerates health, has the magnum from Resistance 2, breathes underwater, and even NPC characters from the storyline react differently to him. Or you can also activate Resistance Connect. Which allows you to actually control the game with the PS3 controller. Bad. Ass. Haha.

Hey Petre. It's been a little while, so I thought I'd check in. How ya doin'?

Hey, I was also curious, how do you like Diablo II? I've heard so much about it, and was finally hoping to pick it up in the next month or two. Also, you ever play the original? If so, how did you like that one too?

Oh, and how are you enjoying Gears of War?

And I apologize to you for the lateness of my reply!

Unfortunately, as soon as I had got the idea to 100% Beyond Good & Evil, my PC's video card started dieing, and now it can't handle games for some reason, though it still works for simple tasks.

And I wish you luck on your GoW crusade!

Ah. I see. You're gonna love BioShock. Haha. It's one of my favorite games of all time.

And yeah, Half Life games are great. I haven't played the original Half Life Series, and it's spin off/expansion packs, but I hope to pick them up soon.

And I was checking out Tiberium Sun, it looks pretty cool, so I'll probably download it soon.

And awesome about the gamertag, Xbox Live was, and still is highly addicting for me, and consumes a lot of my free time. And that sounds awesome, I'd love that. Add me whenever.

And definitely check out Borderlands sometime, it is great. And yeah, I've been looking to check out God of War, I've had the third one's demo on the PS3 for a long time, but figured it would involve spoilers. Thanks for the heads up, I'll check it out now. I also did check out the Chains of Olympus demo on the PSP. Pretty awesome.

I've never heard of Commandos until now, but I was checking it out, and it also looks pretty nice. So I'll try and check those out sometime here.

And as for what I've been playing on Live, mostly BioShock 2 for completion purposes. Which has a surprisingly well done online component, but is hindered at times by some issues like random lag. Often when you're shooting at someone, they just warp out of your cross hairs and end up killing you. Which can cause extreme frustration... Haha. But it is a pretty cool mode. I also play Modern warfare 2 online sometimes, but I really enjoyed Call of Duty 4's online component over MW2's... MW2 is more refined, but I dunno... I liked the smaller maps of CoD4 better.

And also Borderlands, which is my main coop game, both for couch coop, and online. Most of my friends have it, and we have an awesome time with it usually.

And finally, probably my premiere online game, Gears of War 2. Which is amazing... But has had a lot of issues. When it first launched, it was borderline unplayable online, due to horrendous lag and netcode issues, but... This week, after nearly two years of issues, it looks like they may have finally gotten it right... The game seems much more balanced now, it added social matches, which are just for fun, but also go towards leveling you up, they added join in progress to modes you couldn't join in progress previously, and I haven't encountered lag... Yet at least. But so far, it's great, and I'm loving it again. I've played it since it released, dealt with so many issues, and it finally paid off and is quite playable now.

Thanks ^^ it was a good birthday but it's a shame that it was during the middle of exams though but ah well.

As for monster hunter that's on hold due to exams too, as with oblivion and red dead redemption as they are all huge games XD
hopefully prince of Persia can squeeze in around that and I'll have to look into getting the wii version too.

Anyway I would say more but I'm typing this on the bus from my phone and my battery is about to die so speak later :p

Glad to hear you enjoyed God of War as much as I did. That was one of the first games in a while that I really could not put down last year. The second I think is a little superior, and I haven't decided yet on the third, but it's easily on par with the first two.

I do think a PS3 is a worthy investment if you want to be able to play those games as long as you want. Plus it has exclusives like Uncharted.

I haven't been up to much lately. Just finishing up the school year and getting a job for the Summer. Oh, and I highly recommend checking out the Metal Gear Solid series on an unrelated note. They're brilliant!

Oh man, I'm so sorry about the long delay, had a lot of things going on and didn't have much time for Backloggery... But I'm back! And thanks, that KZ2 Trophy was crazy.

How are you enjoying BioShock? I loved that game so much I bought the Xbox 360 version of it a couple years ago, and bought the PS3 one last year for the few additional extras.

And how did you enjoy the Hal Life series?

And I didn't know Tiberian Sun was free now... Never played it personally. Might check it out now though.

And awesome, I see you have a gamertag now. How is the UT3 campaign coming?

And oh yeah, Portal is an amazing game, and that does sound like a great time.

I personally lately, haven't been going through too much lately now that things are chilling out again, I've been playing a crazy amount of Xbox Live lately, I loved the service when I first got it, got a little tired of it, but now I've gone back full force, which reminds me, I dunno if you play cooperative games often, but I highly recommend Borderlands, it's a cooperative RPG/Shooter with up to four players online, and two player splitscreen. Great game.

haha yeah I'm still playing pokémon, its literally eating every spare second I have :P

If you just played blue (great choice) I strongly recommend skipping the rest and going straight to Heart Gold or Soul Silver, you'll understand why the second you beat it ;P

Other than that though games are on a hold, still not beaten oblivion which I need to get back into, and my backlog is ever growing with Red Steel 2 and Monster Hunter Tri sitting on my desk near enough untouched
One thing that I keep forgetting to count as a game but has eaten up more hours than literally anything I can think of is minecraft. Have you ever heard of it? If not GET AN ACCOUNT ASAP :P

Sorry 'bout the late reply, been occupied as of late and I haven't even been on the ol' backlog for quite some time.

I've heard of how great Shadow of the Colossus is, and like many other hidden gems, I mean to add it to my collection eventually.

God of War is amazing. I recommend you play all of them, as they're all incredible, but in my opinion, they've increased the epicness as the series went on. Which is quite a feat IMO. A lot of times, the first game is great but the sequels don't even come close.

P.S. I need to find something to play! Been thinking about starting a 100% run Crisis Core...

Good to hear you decided to buy the Trilogy. I really think those games are close to perfection.

I'm really looking forward to Lords of Shadow as well. In fact, people talking about how similar LoS looked to God of War is what made me want to play the God of War games. Also, Symphony of the Night is great. If you like SotN, definitely try the Metroid games.

I loved Conviction. I never played a SC game in my life because they looked so boring and slow. This is great. There's 5 modes, co-op, so good. It's so good I'm going to go back and play Double Agent. As for The Saboteur, I love this game too. I love the characters, I love the plot, I love the setting, and yes I got the Eiffel Tower achievement, and the one where you jump off and live I just love the European setting in general. And you play as Sean Devlin, a kickass Irishman who is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters ever. If you were to pick Saboteur or Conviction, go with whatever genre you like most - stealth or sandbox. You can't go wrong with either though.

I definitely think it's worth picking up. One of the things that really bugs me about the port is that the cutscenes that are not CG have not been converted to HD. Everything else has, and it looks great. It's just a minor annoyance. Besides that, the ports are in every way better than the originals. There's no screen tearing, the textures look great, and most of the glitches from the original have been fixed. I don't think I ran into a single bug in my playthrough besides stupid stuff like invisible walls that get in the way of places the game directors didn't want you to go.

Definitely pick it up. It's basically what Castlevania should have been in 3D, and might be with Lords of Shadow.

Sweet. I've been spending my days trying to pronounce the volcano's name. As for Shadow of the Colossus, I never beat it, but I thought it was alright. I didn't like how it was a barren wasteland and the only thing to do was to find the collosi, but I should go back and finish it.

Thanks, I loved it. That entire game left little room for complaints. Some of the bosses really owned me, but almost every time I died, I felt like it was my own fault, and each death was a learning experience. I'm a fan.
