Crusader Kings 2
Playing this again after a few years, hoping to get back into it fully before Holy Fury launches and I get caught back up on some DLCs I've missed. Achievements: 47 / 94 (50%)

☆★★★★ I've played Hearts of Iron, Europa Universalis and Victoria, Crusader Kings is by the same people and in the same vein but set in the middle ages. I love this one more than any except probably Hearts of Iron, gets a little easy however once you learn to breed well. Get past about the first 100 years and lay a decent breeding dynasty and I can take just about any Count/Earl and form an empire with them. Still fun though after hundreds of hours of play!

Minion of Bak'laag: 100+ unfinished games
Haven't been using my Backloggery for some time, got a new gaming PC in April (my first true gaming PC ) mainly for the release of BattleTech (which I loved!), been playing older games and recording some EU4 for youtube, etc.

E3 was not the best this year but it does have me thinking about playing on my Switch and/or PS4 more again. I kinda regret the PS4 purchase, played some of Dragon Quest Heroes and didn't enjoy it as much as other Musuo games - and that's it, I never even started Horizon or Last of Us... I was thinking about getting Monster Hunter World when it came out but couldn't justify it with so many new games unbeaten or even just unplayed at all!

Now I'm getting amped because my Switch has a crap-ton of new games I want to play (I even culled my wishlist pretty heavily and still have like 20! I gotta get on these

I've had some medical issues over the past month or two but I'm hoping to be moving past those soon. Also work has been kinda crappy, but its the summer now and we get long weekends (4 10-hour days instead of 5 8-hour days means Friday's Off!) I'm hoping to get a bunch of gaming done on those days - even with the extra projects I'm taking on around my house (and my parent's house).

I'd love to also get back into using GameTZ and selling off some of my old stuff/culling the collection down some. I've been moving this way for some time, there was a time I wanted every game I could get ahold of even if I would never play it and/or it sucked - but now I value my time and clutter free space more and realize I can be more selective and it actually results in a better gaming experience. So maybe I'll do that soon.

I picked up an SNES classic I intended to give to my sister's kids for Christmas this year, but I'm thinking about getting them a Switch instead and giving them the SNES Classic soon so they can play this summer - kinda crazy maybe...

Minion of Bak'laag: 100+ unfinished games
I needed to buy a new TV because my old one wouldn't show on half the screen (it was about 7-8 years old, kinda wish it lasted longer but not worth trying to fix). In searching around through black friday deals I found a pretty nice TV for a decent price I liked so I grabbed it.. and a PS4.

I hadn't planned on getting a PS4 any time soon, but they dropped the price to $199 and I couldn't resist. So on Friday (today is Wednesday, gotta wait 2 more days!) my PS4 should be here. I bought Horizon Zero Dawn (probably the largest single reason I wanted the system) along with The Last of Us Remastered (never played this although I own a PS3) and Dragon Quest Heroes (tired of waiting for them to bring this to the US on the Switch). I got the TV earlier today and it looks great, can't wait to play these Playstation game on it!

I've decided to hold off on Xenoblade Chronicles 2, I wasn't really feeling it and now I have several other games to play. However I'm tempted to grab Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for the Switch as it will be $20 on Friday... I've spent soo much money in the last few days though with the TV and PS4 plus some christmas shopping I may be best to just put a moritorium on game shopping for a few months... plus it will likely take me that long to play through the 3 PS4 games I got

Minion of Bak'laag: 100+ unfinished games
Had Fire Emblem Warriors for like a week, I've put quite a bit of time into it after blasting through another 100+ hours of Stardew Valley. I've actually beaten the Fire Emblem Warriors campaign and am now working on completing higher difficulty levels, the various stuff in the History Mode, etc. lots to do in a game like that - nice mindless fun.

I'm kinda dialing back on gaming however right now, I've been reading a lot more, been listening to a lot of music, watching more youtube and even a little regular TV. Plus I've been trying to spend more time with friends and family - all cutting into my gaming time!

I am thinking about picking up Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in December still, although I've still yet to beat either Disgaea 5 Complete or Mario & Rabbids Kingdom Battle and I still have I am Setsuna to play... maybe I should tackle one of those instead of a new game. Oh and I only played a few hours of Golf Story, I should go back and play more of that!

Still hoping to get an SNES classics but I'm not holding my breath, I just don't have the time or energy to canvas the stores and wait in lines, etc. I want to be able to walk in and buy the thing or order it at any time on the internet - it shouldn't be so hard and it makes me quite dissapointed and a little angry at Nintendo. But I'll get over it, I eventually got an NES classics and hopefully I'll get the SNES classics as well.
