Oh, wow. I'm not used to getting comments on my page anymore, so I didn't notice yours for quite some time. I'm sorry about that.

I've been doing good. Gaming progress has kinda ground to a halt these days though. What little time I do have to play, I spend it playing the same games over and over again. They don't really have any or status to them either. I've been buying stuff still, especially during the chaos of Nintendo's eShop doomsday. When Sony and Microsoft shudder the PS3/Vita/Xbox 360 digital storefronts, all hell is going to break loose...again.

I'm doing good! I've been staying pretty much indoors for most of the pandemic, so my family hasn't been exposed to Covid-19. I unfortunately suffered a minor house fire in 2017, so I lost a fair amount of games. Luckily the damage was mostly isolated in the basement(Where my game room is located). So I've been steadily rebuilding my collection bit by bit. I just recently got a GBA SP, so I've been nabbing all kinds of games for that awesome little handheld lately.

How did you enjoy Costume Quest 2? I'm having a blast with it! "Candy Corn stares intently" Hilarious stuff.

I spotted activity.

I was tempted to finally buy Costume Quest 2 and play it this October. Also, I was looking at my game collection to play a Spooktober game this year, and once again I thought,
"Will this be the year that I play Dead Space?"

I went with Final Fantasy XIII. For whatever reason, playing a Final Fantasy game during October became a tradition for me.

But then my t.v. died. Now it's hard to play anything on a shared t.v.

That was a great line, yeah! My main problem was how difficult it was to actually feel empathy for the main characters. They were pretty much all assholes, aside from Sam, for pulling that prank on Hannah that indirectly lead to her death and her sister's, yet they're all still completely self-absorbed and unrepentant. Like, we're supposed to care if a bunch of rich, selfish kids get killed?

Granted, my perspective is definitely colored by growing up poor and unpopular, ha ha.

Pretty much. The game had its strong points, but subtlety and originality definitely weren't two of them. How did you like it, overall?

I've been hearing mixed things about Firewatch, especially when it comes to the length. How are you finding it so far?

Hope you enjoy The Order: 1886! It's one of my favourite PS4 exclusives.

I'd highly recommend playing Witcher 2 first. The first game is pretty lousy, but the second one is still very solid, and does an excellent job of introducing players to the world and its characters. The third game is definitely outstanding, but it's the culmination of a lot of ongoing stories, so it might not hold as much impact if you're going into it without any of that prior background.
