Back then I got stuck in the desert because I didn't know you had the water in the inventory and have to use it from time to time, aha... I was running around (lost) with like 10 max HP. But yeah in the recent years I was finally able to beat it.
A game often forgotten, but an ok jrpg indeed.

El Psy Kongroo! Deceive yourself! Deceive the World! The Steins; Gate series is really amazing. Congrats on completing the first game on steam!

I still have 2 more Steins; Gate games to play, so I will be playing this series for a while still!

Rebought Persona Q, digitally this time, on the black Friday sale. Between it and Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, the 3DS backlog is back in business.

Persona Q removed from backlog as my card turns out to be defective and unplayable. Not an uncommon problem with this game, I have learned. I may get it digitally in the future, but if I do, I'll readd it to the backlog then. It's no priority.

Yeah, my SD3 party choice is pretty much a given for first-timers I guess. I know I will not give this game the time for even a single replay, making me miss out on some of the charm, if only I persevered playing this back in the day.

Ah Lost Odyssey, one of the best JRPG of its Generation
From time to time I thinked: "I wish it had some cooler and bigger looking super-moves", but at the end, I think is a part of its charme.

How is Bravely Second? I liked the first one a lot, but it seems to me that the sequel was way too much similar... let me know!

You're totally right, I might have been asking for some 'franchise fatigue' by playing so many Assassin's Creed titles in a row! Sometimes a game or movie marathon is a heck of a lot of fun, other times it's like eating too much ice cream...what seems great at the beginning just leads to a stomachache.

There's not a whole lot of variance in those Assassins' Creed games, at least as far as gameplay mechanics go, so they can start to feel rather same-y after awhile. However, Odyssey totally reinvigorated my interest in the series and made me want to go back and play some of the titles I missed. But I took your suggestion and moved on to a palette cleanser. I'll leave AC: Syndicate and AC: Origins on the backburner for now.

Man, I would love to play Lost Vikings on Switch (hint hint) or 3DS! I envy you right now... The most similar game I ever managed to find/play was Overlord Minions, which was great.

I’m interested in your Rune Factory IV updates! I have so badly wanted to get into it, but they seem slow to start. The whole marriage thing pushes me away a little too - just like real life!

What happened to The Keep? I seen some of your FB mentions of it - sounded a little frustrating. I have it on my wishlist still, but it dropped down a few spots on the list I think. It wasn’t too high to begin with...

Etrian Odyssey Nexus is actually taking some effort to get into for the first time ever! They spilt up the dungeon and made a sort-of world map. I am not liking it... I’ve been to three dungeons already and so far only one has more than one floor - three floors so far. We’ll see I guess, everything else is okay so far.

Final Fantasy IX has been the one to stay in focus lately! Quite surprising. It has me more tempted by Final Fantasy VII next month. I guess they redid some stuff in HD? IX looks prettier than I remember, hoping VII will too (as much as it can). If only they would do VIII... I still need to get all the Triad Cards!

Definitely nothing out of the normal in your Now Playing. I think you most always have a lot going on.

The Keep is still sitting in my wishlist. It has been on there for a while. Etrian Odyssey Nexus will be out very soon, so that definitely takes priority over everything!

In the meantime, my now playing has been all over the place. I have played Virtue’s Last Reward for a few days, a little bit of SMT IV: Apocalypse, one dive into a dungeon of Etrian Mystery Dungeon, the first world of New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, and even considered Breath of Fire and Shiren the Wanderer for a little while. It seems like I will settle with Don’t Starve for the remainder of the EO wait.

I like that you’re playing Puzzle Quest again. I still have to beat that one... I actually gave it a brief go about a month ago, but couldn’t get into it like that first experience. That was when it consumed me and the “sprites” invaded my dreams!

Breath of Fire III, or maybe IV, was fun and interesting, but I did not spend much time with it on the PlayStation. So I am hoping the the first one, via 3DS, is a good introduction. If not, I guess I’ll try the second one next?

Congratulations on taking down Ever Oasis... And an even bigger congrats on the new engagement! I was going to say something on FB but never got around to it. But yay!!!

All the possible next-up titles I mentioned earlier ended up being rejected. Instead, I ended up restarting and beating Metroid: Samus Returns. Then I continued with Steam World Dig 2, because I was too lazy to switch out a cartridge, and I beat that one too!

I will bookmark your review - thank you! It will be read eventually for sure that way. I decided against playing Etrian Mystery Dungeon after playing it again for an hour or so. I just don’t like how you have an entire party. I think I would rather try Shiren the Wanderer instead since it is solo.

Hmm, I may continue being in no rush to play Ever Oasis then. I might not have the patience for it... I will get to it eventually, I hope. Good luck to you with conquering it!

For now, I’m trying to decide between Etrian Mystery Dungeon and Rune Factory IV. Or maybe just picking SMT IV: Apocalypse up again and finally finishing it.

My Switch games are starting to pile up now too, but my dock no longer works and the system itself is kind of bulky... So I haven’t played it in a while. The Binding of Isaac does look like fun though!

Only three months until the new Etrian Odyssey! That should go by quick enough - can’t wait.

Is that the release date for Etrian Odyssey Nexus? I’m not certain, I just know it’s in February! I put it down for quite some time last year. It has been nearly a year since I started it now and I am up to 109 hours. The final boss is just a little too tough for me yet...

I doubt I’ll ever dive into the Untold releases. There is very little interest in them. I would be more likely to pick up the originals and finally take on the bonus stratums for each. So I am in the same boat as you.

If I remember right, I got Ever Oasis because it sounded similar to Fantasy Life? I am in no hurry to start it though. I now have Dark Souls to finally play. I just can’t let it distract me from beating Etrian Odyssey V - I’m so close!
It's breaking. Little by little.
