Hey love the banner! Who's that character?

It's a phenomenal game, I'd absolutely jump on it when you get the chance. Really interesting style, obviously, but also just a great sense of fun. The game really knows that it's a game and wants to be light hearted and silly and let you enjoy your time with it!

The downside is that it has me wanting to play The Neverhood, which is even harder to track down than Skullmonkeys..

I'm finding the art and audio real nice.. but the puzzles are kind of testing my patience. Just like, vague, geometry-themed ideas that look more complicated than they are. I can see why people might find it very nostalgic though, it's got that moebius edge.

I suppose so - I usually end up doing everything besides getting all of the cards, so it takes a bit longer for me. But then, I enjoy every minute of it, so I don't mind.

Super Mario Bros. 3 is so hard...I almost don't even like it.

Hey guys! It's been a super long time. I took a break from here to concentrate on actually beating some games instead of obsessing over the state of my Backlog. I have quite a few games to add as my collection has once again inflated greatly, and while I've mostly gotten all of the common games I want, I'm still regularly getting new games. My PS2 is also still down, been forgetting to get that disc cleaner from the dollar store, so the PS2 games will still be nulled untill I can remember to get it

Mind you, it's not a masterpiece, but it'a good one. Should be pretty cheap by now, also.

Yeah, it the level where you ride a monkey-buffalo-or something, and you have to destroy enemies and stuff. It was pretty bad, i feel your pain. :D

If so, i recommend you play Wolfenstein, the 2009 (if i remember right) reboot made by Raven Software, it's kinda "bioshock-y", but it a great thing if you are like me, and prefer a more single player/story focused FPS shooter with an extensive campaign.

I'm not too proud about the fact i did beat Ty, and by beating i mean nearly completed it, because it's also one of those cheap and lazy collectathons that pretty much require an insane amount of stuff to be done or collected to just finish it. And none of that is fun.

Dino Crisis! I remember playing it on PC so many years ago. It was fun

Hehe, I've beaten Dino Crisis on a PSX emulator (had to use the walkthrough sometimes), but heck, it's a fun game!

i'm not an expert on the old FPS, mostly because i didn't play them back in the day (as i wasn't there), but i'm slowly getting to play the old ones or stuff like Serious Sam or Duke Nukem 3D, and i'm enjoying them quite a lot, they're not too dated or anything. I'm liking the semplicity of those, where the answer to anything (like pressing a button) is shooting at it first.
I actually played an Unreal game, i think is was Unreal Tournament for the PS2, but i barely remember anything about it.

Nice to hear Tak isn't bad, i completely glossed over it since it looked like another crappy mascot platformer, like... indeed Ty The Tasmanian Tiger, which was bad. I have the sequel, maybe it's better, but given how the first one was, it's not too high on the stuff i wanna play next to (also) clean my Backloggery.

I got my CD cleaner at a dollar store, hopefully you can get one there too?

Finally getting into the swing of actually beating games now that I've bought so many. I need to get a CD cleaner to hopefuly fix my PS2 so I can get back to Rouge Galaxy. Though I may try and track down one of the later models that doesn't have the pesky laser issue.....
I have quite a few blue disc games that I need to get to!

Have you tried a CD/DVD lens cleaner on your PS2. I got one and my PS2 seems to read discs fine now!
