Toon link really is a great version of link. The new Skyward sword link look pretty cool too!

Very cool! I want to say that Toon link and Lucas are my best characters as well, but I try to use most of the roster evenly. I'll definitely play against you in Brawl once my backlog clears up a bit. since I'm always in the mood for a good fighting game.

Haha, I'm glad you like it. There are so many games, classic, modern, and upcoming that I'm always looking forward to play. I found about about Pocky and Rocky not too long ago myself, and I instantly liked the Japanese theme and arcade-style action game play I saw. There's bigger fish to fry on my list, but I'll get to that game eventually.

I can't agree more about how great the Wiiware service looks this year. I think fans of 2D action and platforming games will feel right at home with the Wii.

Unless you're dead set on beating it, I would advise dropping Battletoads. I got no satisfaction from finishing it at all because the utter impossibility of it had murdered any remaining fun factor dozens of times over by the time I reached the end.

Both are games I plan to get!

I'd have to describe Contra 4 as fun but really hard.

Hmm, in some ways the melee weapons can be overpowered in dealing with groups, and yes the shove actually might be even more effective now. I'd say that the maps are a bit more open-ended though so you don't always have the option to back into a corner (they drop from high places a lot more now).

The more open world definitely eliminates the easiness in surviving at the end of campaigns, as I have yet to find a closet type deal where everyone can just crouch, shove, and shoot. Infected basically have way more options in getting to you which does make it more challenging and requires you to move constantly at times.

I'm enjoying the melee weapons, added gore, and better structured missions. Even on normal or easy I don't know the maps yet so things can turn into chaos fast.
