With Free McBoot, you end up modifying your Memory Card and loading the programs on there that allows you to play import/burned games. The problem is, I think allowing Free McBoot to be installed erases everything already on your Memory Card so I moved all of my save files to a pen drive through ARMAX, and then moved what I wanted on my memory card back once I was done installing Free McBoot.

Now actually installing Free McBoot is a huge pain in the ass, but there are several ways to go about it. I used a method that's, ironically enough, similar to Stop 'n' Swop. If you want to learn more about it I suggest we chat about it sometime in on the RWP or some other chatroom.

I used the "Free McBoot" method which is overly complicated, but it is cheaper in the long run and allows me to play games I burn to DVD's, so I can play PS2 games that have English patches and whatnot.

Swap Magic costs more, but is a much easier process. The extra money is worth the stress it saves to most people, I think.
