Cool to see you're active again. You'll have to let me know how you like Shadow Tactics. I picked it up, but have yet to try it. Also, I personally couldn't stand DQH. I finished it, but was so ready to be done by the end lol.

Hey, thank you kindly for that! I've actually played that a good while back (used to help run an emulation website for a couple of years) and I loved it, very excellent fanmade I think. I'd love to get a repro of it, honestly.

Wow. You're playing all these cool games. Borderlands I-II and Torchlight! Getting set for Torchlight 2 I presume?

Oh, yeah. I'm a huge fan of the Front Mission series, although I got into it fairly recently. I've owned FM3 on PSN for a while, but I've been itching to get a physical copy for a while now. Once I finish a few more things that I have planned to play, I'm going to start it again in earnest.

As for Borderlands 2... I haven't even started it. The reason is that I've not yet completed the first, and I don't want to start the second until I have. So I'm working on that, and then I intend to play Borderlands 2.

Oh.. so much to play.

Vandal Hearts II is a different beast from its predecessor for sure. But the spirit is definitely there, and the plot as well as the gameplay does held up for its vandal hearts charm. The mechanics of the combat is different though. It took me several attempts to get it down right. The AI will always follow this pattern:

#1 Attack nearest weakest enemy (lowest amount of hp max or remaining or has generally weak def).
If so, hit from side or from behind (preferably if possible).

#2 If not the weakest possible enemy, hit the leader. Repeat for areas to attack, side or the back preferably.

#3 Enemy prefers to attack from higher ground if possible.

Following THIS AI line of thinking, you can predict who or where they're going to move to, and you can move your characters to hit them. Every once in a while I'd make a mistake thinking they'll hit my guy in the front, forgetting that they'd rather want to hit on the side lol. It takes on interesting route on tactics. I like it so far.

I've also been following a non spoiler walkthrough on hidden items and this guy recommended a very nice balanced set up regarding who wears what (that defines your class basically). Two mages, two ranged, 3 wingmen (2 variable attackers and one thief), and two knights later on. If I didn't have that set up, I can imagine myself having a real hard time not knowing what's better lol.

Today I'm officially level 22 in life and there is no better way to celebrate than with friends, games, and of course my fellow gamers so today I ask simply that you play a game and enjoy it as full-heartedly as you can in celebration!

Thanks, I did have a ton of fun, the concert was perfect, the audience fantastic and the composers and the musicians were super nice! I got autographs and pictures with Shimomura and Mitsuda, so at the moment I couldn't be happier.

Yeah, I heart me some Super Metroid.. Although, I didn't complete it recently.
I noticed that it was set as unbeaten, and I beat it a while back. I actually need to go through my entire
collection and set quite a few games to completed. XD

Although, I wouldn't mind replaying it again.. now that I think about it. XD
