Hi! Have you heard about Nights of Azure? I beat it recently and I ended up liking it a lot. It's a hack 'n' slashy game, but it also has these yuri undertones to the story that made me think you might enjoy it in that respect. The writing and character either weren't translated too well or just wasn't the best to begin with, and felt kinda lame at first, but after a while I looked past that and they ended up growing on me. I also really like it because it has this classic video game feel to it. I got it on the PS4, but they also just released it on Steam along with Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book. So if you like stabbing monster with giant weapons and having a variety of little demon buddies to follow you around, I suggest looking into it.

Saw that you beat Yakuza 3, thats cool! Y3 has a special place in mah heart as there are parts of it that really shine even as the series moves forward with new tech, gameplay and narrative.

The only one I spent a decent amount of time messing around with side content was Y5. Like 20 extra hours, which is a lot for me.

Just got my copy of Y0 wonder what weird 1988 side content it will have.

Yo! How was Yakuza 3 for you? Despite some frustrating parts I rather enjoyed it, myself.

I really need to try and go through that game again. I really enjoyed it but the mini-game subquests frustrated me to no end, and I'm definitely never doing the baseball cage one again. I'm just not patient enough to deal with the AI in that.

Shining Force was the first RPG I beat, really loved this one

Hi Tango. I just completed Croc 2 and it's way better than the first game. The controls are more normal this time around, at least for the Playstation version. I saw gameplay for the PC version and it looks like it kept the old controls, but I'm not entirely sure about how that works. Getting 100% isn't insane since you only need the 5 colored gems, not the 100 basic gems of each stage. It still has camera issues and also keeps the tradition of making minecart segments the worst thing in video games, but I had way more fun with this one. Just letting you know in case you're interested in giving this one a chance.

OH I guess a PC thing makes sense... I have it on Vita (and 3DS), so I was like... huh?

I can't wait for 999 on Vita. I haven't wanted to open my original print since seeing it's going price haha...

A few weeks ago, my brother and I were scrolling through and randomly clicking on Roms to see what random games are like, and Battleblaze was one that we landed on. I thought it was pretty interesting that it was the final product. Did you end up enjoying it?

Holy shit Croc, that game I remember spending so many hours playing it. I could only imagine playing it now how bad it actually is!

Well, congrats on at least beating it! I remember eventually coming around to the controls as I played through the game. It felt to me like a very barebones 3D platformer. I remember trying to set myself up with the proper positioning then going through with the jumps. Sure, any part of the game that required you to run quickly, jump, AND turn was a nightmare, but other than that I was doing ok. Which actually made me kinda sad when I tried Croc 2 for a couple seconds and noticed the controls were changed, as I found them kinda niche and unique. But good news for you! If you ever feel like you might want to revisit this series, for whatever diabolical reason, at least they changed how he controls in the second game.

Hi. I beat Croc not too long ago, and it gets very difficult to play later in the game if you're aiming for 100% completion, which, if I remember correctly, is required to see the final ending or the final world or something. I did play it ages ago and instantly stopped, but then I stuck around with it and was able to get used to the controls a bit, so you might like it more after your initial reaction wears away.
