Played back in the day, on my Pentium III 500MHz machine, likely didn't complete it without cheats! Will rate if replayed. Update: On a real FPS kick at the mo', pretty sure I was right in my assertion that I've never beaten Doom II legitimately, so maybe now is the time? For when I need a fix between the sprawling levels of Ashes: Afterglow. Trying this one out on GZDoom, though without any bells and whistles!

The sequel to Ashes 2063. I loved the first game and expansion, in the form of the Enriched Edition, so I have high hopes for this one!

I had some sort of demo version of this game way back when, which I believe was limited to the first level. It left an impression on me, looking pretty impressive at the time, especially some of the effects right at the start. It's not such a looker nowadays but this era of FPS is having a renaissance atow and I'm all in! This was my favourite era of the FPS and it's great to revisit one I have a connection with but remains fresh, seeing as I could never track down a copy of it. Enjoying so far!

So I've got a week off work and, as I always do, I start doing time consuming things with a view to continuing them once I'm back at work. Which of course never happens.

My new plan, instead of even attempting to catch up with my Steam library or anything ridiculous like that, is to add games as I play them so it's easy to see what I'm up to and I'll post it on my Twitch page. I may also bring my console collection up to date as I personally like to keep track of this.
